Publix

My office is across the street from this Publix so I decided to get a sub for lunch. I usually order at the counter but this time I went on their website and built the sub. It was so easy to use! You also get to place your pickup time, which I set up for 30 minutes since the time I placed the order. When I got to Publix my sub was complete and already waiting! They have a case just next to where the subs are created where they place the to go orders. The only thing I didn’t love was that anyone could have picked up mine and paid for it and then I would have been out of luck.
I was so happy when I looked in the bakery and saw that they had a loaf of the cranberry walnut bread! It’s my favorite and I guess it’s everyone else’s too because the Publix by my house is always out! The bakery employee was so nice asking how I wanted it sliced and offered me a taste of another bread they were selling. All of the employees were happy and pleasant and there was no line at the registers when I went to leave!

Sempre tive aquela ideia fixa de que o Walmart é o mercado dos sonhos, que apresenta precos imbatíveis… Só que ai me hospedei em uma casa pertinho do Publix e resolvi que valia arriscar. Não me arrependo nem um pouco!
Não posso afirmar de maneira generalizada, mas as coisas que comprei no publix foram repor o que já havia consumido em casa (coisas que comprei no walmart 4 dias antes) e alguns produtos chegaram a ter o preço com a diferença de até 1 dólar a menos!
Além do preço, a organização do supermercado me agradou muito, acho que até por ser menos ele é mais bem organizado e eu consegui me programar melhor e comprar apenas aquilo que realmente precisava!

I am normally a fan of Publix, however, this is the worst location I have experienced. I moved nearby and try to shop here, but the employees seem determined to be as unfriendly as possible. At the Publix I previously shopped at, they carried dried, sugared ginger. At this store, I’ve asked employees and they have pointed me to «the produce manager». His response was «no, we don’t carry». When I asked if he could order it, his response was «no». Ok– blow it off. Today, I spent 160.00 and the cashier seemed to be having a bad day. Came across very rude. After sacking my own groceries, I then carried them out to my car as what appeared to be employees standing idly by. I ask myself this. Love to shop here? Unfortunately, no.

This is my Publix! I’m originally from PA, and before I moved I shopped at Wegman’s. This was definitely a transition for me in the produce department, which is mainly where I shop from. A year later though, I am used to the smaller selection and less organics, because that’s just the way it is at all the stores here, aside from Whole Foods, which is too far away, and too busy for me. My only gripe is there are absolutely things for sale that are expired, so always check your labels here! Also, organics are sparse and not always the freshest so just check everything carefully. I only had an issue once with bringing something home and realizing it was moldy, but I’m happy to say the customer service counter was very easy to deal with and refunded me quick and easy. What really makes this Publix great is the staff, the people here are the nicest people I have ever came across in grocery store. The people in the aisles are nice and helpful, and the check out people are always friendly. I like to load my own car, but they offer to do that for you to as part of your shopping experience. I’ve also noticed the put out umbrellas and ponchos when it’s raining, I definitely never saw anything like that where I’m from, how nice! Make sure you sign up for mobile coupons, they are so easy to use, just «clip» the ones you want, and enter in your phone number during checkout to load them to your order. Also, it’s worth mentioning my husband is a huge fan of the subs that you order online and pick up in the store, I pick a sub up for him every single time and he loves them!

We were staying Champions Gate on vacation. We were within 3 minutes and it was our one stop shop for all our vacation needs. Even picked up a sand castle making kit for the beach!

I usually visit this place frequently a couple times a week I stay about 5 minutes around the corner from here this place has very good customer service. Also very helpful if it’s something that I am looking for specifically. I love the publix subs, I usually get boars head with double meat ;)

I love Public. I can smell their breaded hot n spicy fried chicken 10 miles away. The store is always clean. They have good cuts of steak. The meat is usually fresh. Overall Public is usually a lean store.

This place is very friendly. All the workers are helpful and are great to have convos with. The only thing is they don’t have hard Liquor! But overall pleased. Very clean.

Deli is very disorganized! They have a system where no one knows what they are doing!
If you need to order a sub, GOOD LUCK!!! you will be waiting a while!

Started out good and then we switched deli workers. Had to order three sandwiches first two with a smile the second one with the little sass.

looks like this one got the update treatment that most of the newer Publixes seem to be getting
right near Reunion/​Championsgate so when you are staying in a condo nearby hit them up for the supplies you need!

Staying at Reunion resort and went to this place a few times before going back to the resort. This is a fully-​functional grocery store and they have plenty of items to snag for your condo stay. Not sure how their prices match up with other local grocery stores, but it worked for us. Plenty of produce and a deli as well.

Love publix! Can’t wait until they have one in Charlotte. This location had extremely clean bathrooms, for which I was very grateful considering we had been on the road for about 10 hours. Publix has an wonderful deli and delishious subs and soups. Their prices are pretty good as well!

We need to get some Publix in NYC. This supermarket is immense. The options are endless.
I came here while I was on a short trip to Orland/​Disney and stayed at the nearby Hampton Inn:
. I came here to buy sandwich ingredients to pack and bring with me to Disney: Cold-​cuts, greens, fruits, dried fruits, etc and they were short of nothing. Everything is of excellent quality, no rotten fruits here.
The isles are super neat and clean. I found a chipotle mayo that I LOVE and have yet to find in the NYC supermarkets.
Lucky those that come here to shop for their groceries on a regular basis.

couldn’t find «Spotted Dick» though.
Spotted Dick is a steamed suet pudding containing dried fruit, usually currants. The dessert is especially popular in the United Kingdom, usually served either with custard or with butter and brown sugar. Spotted refers to the currants (which resemble spots), and Dick is a corruption of the word dough. They did have Devon custard and other British specialities.
