I am SO EXCITED about this place!
Honestly, 3 days before I found this place, a coworker and I were discussing our love for Cedar Crest ice cream, and how we didn’t know of any local shops scooping it up, only grocery stores selling containers. It was fate!
I didn’t spend much time perusing the candy or sodas, but it seemed like there was quite a bit. Didn’t evaluate seating or décor– took my cone to go, and honestly am not going to knock a new place back for paint jobs. What counts is 1) they had great, friendly service, 2) had excellent ice cream and 3) the portions were ridiculous!
I’ve had Cedar Crest via grocery store and hand-​scooped from ice cream shoppes, and my personal favorite is the Coconut Explosion! Which I highly recommend.
Tonight I decided to go with All American Cherry, a feature flavor of the summer. I glanced at the menu board, and thanks to the drawings on the white board, I knew a «single» was more like a «double». In fact, the «single» scoop was so large that I made it all the way home to Coon Rapids and still wasn’t down to my cone yet.

Just tried this place for the first time. Ok selection of ice cream; I had the pistachio and it was delicious. I ordered one scoop and expected that; they gave me about 5… so great large portions! I love the selection of old school sodas they have in the back along with the candy. The only thing I would’ve liked to see would be more tables both inside and out and more décor as it was lacking but that may be because they just opened up recently.

Yes finally a local, ma and pop ice cream shop near me! I have a thing for the sweets, like major so I am there when a new place, ol’ place comes along. Newly opened Cullens is a must try, here’s the double scoop:

–can’t beat the price so reasonable $ and you got lots of ice cream

Great local joint! Just opened up. This is just as good as any ice cream place I’ve been. Sabastian, grand ol, Sonny’s.
They don’t have booze, but they do have old school candy and sodas.
The servings are huge and the staff is very friendly.
Easy 5 stars in my book! Everyone come get some!
