Allard Collision

I am writing this review in regards to my auto body repair. Everyone at Allard collision is extremely friendly and very helpful. Kim at the front desk is very delightful and Keith in the repair shop always kept me up-​to-​date. I hope that I do not ever have another collision however if I do I certainly know where I will take my vehicle. My paint matches perfectly!!! Thank you.

I just want to send a shout out to Allard Collision! I had the pleasure of dealing with John, Keith and Kim. They are all extremely professional. Communication and trust is important to me. They provide crystal clear communication, hence they gained my trust. I hardly post on Unilocal,but I want to pay it forward, these guys are great! Give them a shot, you won’t be disappointed!

When my wife was involved in an accident in her Lexus RX 350 I wasn’t sure where to go to get it fixed so I went to Unilocal and glad that I did. The reviews of Allard Collision were very positive and so was my experience. John and Keith were great. All parts replaced were factory parts including one the insurance company disputed because it cost $ 800 more than an aftermarket part. Workmanship was excellent and so was the service. I will even give a shout out to Benny from Enterprise for making the rental car experience easy and smooth.

I dealt with Keith and Kim at Allard after my Chevy Cruze was rear-​ended. They made my experience much more pleasant than I could have imagined by treating my car like their own.
Allard is very professional and excellent at communicating between the insurance company and vehicle owners. He made sure USAA covered damages both visual and hidden. My bumper is beautiful again AND they cleaned my car. Never going anywhere else.

These guys are great. I highly recommend them. They took care of everything and worked everything out with our insurance. They even detailed the car prior to pickup.
It wasn’t a huge deal, but as a courtesy they also did some touch up on my other vehicle.

All around good guys; after someone hit my car and ran, the guys helped put my bumper on with no cost. They took a really hard situation and made it that much easier on my fiancé and I. Can’t recommend them enough!

I was considering buying a used car that was selling as-​is. It had some minor body damage and some areas that looked like they needed painting. I wanted to get an idea of how much it would cost to fix these things before I bought the car.
Based on the Unilocal reviews I called the shop and was told I could stop by anytime to have someone take a look at the car.
When I got to the shop someone helped me right away (the owner I think) and he said the body damage was indeed minor and didn’t really need to be repaired. And as for the areas that I thought needed painting, he said that a detailing place could remove the marks/​stains and that the car didn’t need painting.
I really appreciated the prompt service and honesty. If I ever need body repair work I will definitely go back.

Recently I was rear-​ended in my one-​week-​old Jetta TDI Sportwagen. Having experienced great service on other vehicles I’d taken to Allard Collision, my second call after calling the insurance company was to call Allard to get in for an estimate on the damage.
They got me in right away, handled everything through the responsible party’s insurance with minimal effort on my part, and had my car ready for me on the date promised. Not only did they repair the obvious damage to the rear-​end, but they inspected the car thoroughly and found damage to the front end not apparent to the naked eye from being pushed into the car in front of me. They had the adjuster come out to inspect the vehicle again to make sure it was covered under the same accident.
They saved me so much time and handled everything in a professional manner, always in contact about the status of my repair. After my multiple experiences with Allard, I highly recommend them for any auto repairs, customization, and restoration projects.

I had an unfortunate mishap with a flatbed trailer and my truck’s tailgate. I found a used white one off Craigslist and dropped it off with my old, obliterated tailgate. I picked it up today and they paint matched it perfectly. Looks great! Thanks!

I came in basically unannounced for minor body repair. I was quoted a very reasonable price. I dropped off my car, and was told it would take 3 days. The car was done in 2 days. The actual cost of the repairs was ~30% higher then the quote. I was only charged the quoted amount because this place is AWESOME! Great work on the repair, easy process. The people there are so easy to work with that I honestly was afraid. It was such a simple process I thought something must be wrong. Nope, just that good of a body shop. Never taking a car anywhere else.

I must say these guys have their act together. I had relatively minor damage to my 2012 BMW X5 and these guys fixed is flawlessly. While it was an insurance claim they were reasonably priced and completely the repairs perfectly and within the timeline they promised. I hope to not need their services often but when I do I’ll definitely come back to Allard.

Well it looks like I have jinxed myself. I had a small incident with the truck. The «mishap» was a tractor and the tailgate of the truck, resulting in a series of holes and dents imprinted into the tailgate. I was sick to my stomach that this brand new truck has damage… Even more that the new aluminum body style would create new challenges. I soon realized I had no reason to be concerned. I soon realized that John and his shop are nothing shy of amazing. Within 3 days they had painted, pin-​striped, repaired and even reapplied the spray in bed liner. The truck looks brand new again!
I will continue to refer friends and family here, as they are personable, knowledgeable, dependable and stand behind their work. If you are unfortunate to need repairs– this is the only place I will recommend. Additionally if you want to customize your vehicle, you would be amazed what John can design – nothing short of jaw-​dropping! Thank you Allard Collision!!!

Body shops are like hospitals, you don’t want to be there, but if you end up there you want the best people helping you. That’s what you get at Allard Collision, the best doctors working to make your Betty, Jackson, Shirley (or whatever you call your car) like new again. The frosting on the cake is that their competent professionalism is coated with good cheer. John Allard is a rare find– someone you can trust. I was lucky to be referred to him.

Don’t waste your time looking for auto body repair shops on Craigslist! Allard Collision was straight forward with estimation, provided superb customer service and kept me in the loop throughout the whole process and my car now looks brand new! Keith was very upfront with me with how the repair will be done and kept the promise. Kim was fantastic with coordinating me with a rental car — I was able to get a special rate with Enterprise Rental thanks to Allard! Super outstanding job on replacing the bumper on my Audi A4 and paint to exactly match the car! Streamlined the process with my insurance and kept the promise with my deductible pay. I highly recommend this place!

This place is in my opinion the best Collision repair shop in ALL of the land! John is always so happy to help that he makes you want to be happy too! Great work and prompt, Honest service make Allard Collision a hit!

Had a pretty good dent in the bumper of our Altima after a woman backed into it in the dark. Her insurance had me take it to their shop for an estimate of the damages and when the amount seemed very low, I began my search for a good body shop.
The next shop I visited seemed ok, but when I stepped in to Allard, I immediately recognized a level of service the reviews were talking about!
They handled EVERYTHING, from dealing with the insurance company (actual costs were more than double in the end!), even allowing me to leave the rental car in their lot for them to pick up!
The car was pristine, inside and out, and I really couldn’t be happier with their service and stellar work on my car. They’re the BEST! (Photos to come when it gets daylight!)

I’m not one for writing reviews, but I must say the folks at Allard Collision have won me over. I have had two vehicles worked on at Allard now and both were NOT paid for by insurance. So this came out of my Pocket more the reason to be picky. Typical Toyota Paint, my 2002 Tundra, the truck runs super, the paint not so much. The truck looks showroom fresh today.
I thought the price both times was high but honestly I am tight and always want the best deal ever. I went along with the work both times and have to say the work was well worth it. I came out feeling I got the best deal in town. Both my vehicles were very well done. Go see John and his associates they were very friendly and professional. you couldnt ask for more than that.

Met with John and explained to him about the accident I had in winter back in Chicago with a 18 Wheeler. I also sent him a copy of the estimate from Geico.
Both John and Kim were great ! Bonus, John was also from the Chicago area :-))
We agreed that I will drop off my car with him when I return back to Chicago. He could repair my car while I «finish» my move from Chicago.
I think I did learn from the accident, if you do get involve in an accident with a 18 wheeler, get the plate numbers from the CAB and not the trailer. The License plate number from the trailer is useless.
I will update on the repair when I get back from Chicago.

I took my Mazda and my Jeep to John at Allard Collision to have them do the repairs. John gave me a quote and the final price out the door was not a penny more than what he quoted me.
I had them sand and repaint my hood and apply clear bra. The work was flawless and matches the OEM paint perfectly. I get compliments on the work completed all the time and have referred them to Allard Collision.
My Jeep was damaged and the rear tub was bent. John put the Jeep on their frame alignment tool and used hydraulics to push and pull the panels back into place. It’s as straight as an arrow now and my door now properly closes. I dropped it off in the morning and picked it up in the afternoon.
Very solid work at a very affordable price point. This was all paid out of pocket, no insurance claims.
Highly recommend going over to see John (the owner) and take a look at his shop and meet with him. He gives off a good honest vibe, not some creepy shady guy like lots of other body shops are. His facility is clean and secure if your car needs to stay overnight.
