Az Best Priced Pools

We had a pool built in southeast Gilbert area by AZ Best Priced Pools and got a fantastic pool for a great price. We were incredibly happy with Andy Alvarado and every subcontractor he had in each phase of the project. We spent 2 months interviewing 6 Pool Builders in the Phoenix area and obtaining bids. We gained substantial savings by going with AZ Best Priced Pools, and our pool was completed on schedule with all work performed per the agreed contract. We recommended Andy to a number of our neighbors and friends and they were also very happy with the price and the outcome.

BE CAREFUL WITH THIS COMPANY! We called AZ Best Priced Pools for a quote and Andy Alvarado sent out his brother Dave to do the estimate. We called AZ Best Priced Pools and ended up under contract with his brother Dave of Dave’s Construction (who works under his brother, Andy Alvarado’s, Contractor’s License). Yes, we did get a good price but Dave didn’t know what the heck he was doing. Dave constantly called his brother Andy, who was here on the job a few times, to guide his brother Dave some what in the right direction. Towards the end of the project, Dave ran out of money and didn’t stay to finish. He up and left leaving our backyard a disaster and left some tools and equipment here. We made numerous phone calls/​text messages to Dave and he never returned to finish the job after he said he would. Since then we had to hire his electrician & pay directly (to install blower that electrician wouldn’t provide to Dave because Dave owed him too much money), a plumber (plumbing hooked up wrong), Leslie’s Pool Supply (Hayward Rep) for the heater he supplied which never worked from day one, a landscaper to fix the botched stairs to jacuzzi, not to mention rocks that came off the day after Dave quit showing up. We are still needing to apply stucco and paint to exterior of the jacuzzi. This project started the beginning of March and we were told it would take 2 weeks to complete and here we are the end of July.
I just received a phone call from Andy after I sent him a short email to try and resolve this matter. He yelled and threatened me that he would sue me for slander if I wrote any negative reviews about his company instead of trying to come to a resolution. I’m not saying DO NOT use AZ Best Priced Pools, but then again I can’t vouch for their work, but I would make certain you are getting AZ Best Priced Pools and not a relative, check their ID’s!
