I am one that never writes reviews but this is by far the worst customer service Ive ever had! I’ve been shopping with Cathy Jean for over ten years and probable will never shop there again! I bought a pair of boots 4 days ago and tried them on at home they are to tight. I was told that the sandals that I purchased were final sale not the boots. The manger told me I had 30 days to return them if they didn’t work out. So I went in to return the boots and was told I couldn’t. I explained that I was not told that and they are to tight so I can’t even wear them. She called the manger that I worked with and she said she never said that. Then asked to speak to a manger the girl I was talking to said she was, so I asked her what she could make an exception and was flat out turned down. I’ve been working in customer service for long time now and I would never act like this to a customer. They do not even know what there return policy is because then the manger on duty told me everything I purchased that day was final sale and was never told that by there store manger. Learn your policy and learn how to actually run a business! You shouldn’t purchase anything from this store unless you completely love it because you will be stuck with it!

I work on my feet all day sometimes up to 12 hours and I am required to wear heels or wedges. I have purchased Cathy Jean shoes on and off for about three years and overall they have held up very well. I am a big fan of their classic black wedge style with a knot on the top, they have had variations of this style for years and it is very comfortable for being a 4 to 5 inch heel. I recently purchased a new pair and they definitely have a breaking in period but once they are broken in they will be fantastic, very cushioned on the arch and heel.
I have also purchased boots here which I have had one pair for two years and also taken on a trip to London and they are still looking pretty good. I will have to retire them soon (always a sad day) but I will probably go back to Cathy Jean to replace them. Prices are good and there is usually always a sale going on. Prices range from $ 30 to $ 120 and some shoes are made with all synthetic and some are made with a leather synthetic blend.
Customer service at this location on my most recent visit was very good. The cash register drawer got stuck when I needed my change but it was no big deal and the associate kept her cool. She was very helpful and had a positive attitude. Better service than I had received here in the past. They used to only have manual receipts so the fact that they have a cash register at all is an upgrade and helpful to the associates and the customer. This is a final sale store but just know that going into it. Be sure of your purchase and you will be okay. Overall good. I will be back.

Worst customer service I have ever received! Make sure you try shoes on there bc once you exchange them there’s no going back!!! I even called to talk to the DM (I was told she would call me back) never did!!! Someone else did… not a good company at all! Shop at nordstroms!!!

The first time I walked by this shoe store I thought it sounded lame. I was on frenzied search for the perfect pair of brown high heels to go with a dress I would be wearing on a cruise. I’ve never even heard of this company before in AZ so when I walked by it at an Orange County mall I didn’t give it a second look. But after two hours of solid searching every store you can think of I decided it was no time to be picky. Low and behold within 10 minutes of walking into Cathy Jean I was out the door with a FABULOUS pair of brown heels!!! I was so excited and for full price they cost $ 55, a much better deal than Aldo’s or Nordstrom’s. And I wouldn’t say the quality is less, their shoes are made from genuine letter in Brazil. Since that first fab find I’ve gone back and purchased these same exact heels in black, a pair of comfy shrug boots for fall and just yesterday a pair of silver heels for a wedding at 75% for only 15 bucks! I keep going back because I know that all their inventory eventually goes on sale, the prices aren’t bad to begin with AND they’re darn comfy. I have the kind of job where I’m on my feet all day and these heels don’t make me feel the burn the way my Jessica Simpson or Aldo heels do. Now that I’m aware of this store I know they have locations at the Chandler Fashion Center and Scottsdale Fashion Square. Give it shot and I’m sure you’ll walk out with happy feet. :)
