This guy is by far the RUDEST horrible excuse for not only a pharmacist, but a human being in general. Oh yeah, he is a liar to boot. I am seen by a chronic pain doctor. One of the doctor’s offices is in the same plaza, but it isn’t the one I usually go to. When you go to a pain doctor you must agree that you will ALWAYS use the SAME pharmacy to fill every med you get. I don’t care what it is, you must you THESAMEONE. I use Target in Tempe. I have a great relationship with them and they always treat me well. Their prices are very good and the personal attention, advise and service you get compared to a Walgreens or CVS is amazing. I have surgery scheduled for Tuesday. My doctor gave me something to add to my usual meds to help with the pain. Because it is something I never have taken I called Target to make sure they would have it. I was informed that they are having an issue getting the med right now and I might need to try other places since the surgery was Tuesday and today is Thursday. I called my doctor back. I had to get their permission to use another place. They gave me this place and told me many of their patients use it and I have permission to go there. I live in North Tempe. This place is down on Frye Rd and Dobson. So I called the place to see if they have it before I drove down there. The guy said they did. But because his English is about the level of an average New York cabbie I had a hard time understanding something he said. He said bring all of the scripts. I told him I only had one. He said fine. So I go. I walk in, I am the only one there. I thought this was weird but, ok. He was on the phone so I waited a few minutes. Once he hung up I told him I called ahead and needed this med. He then told me he would not fill it. I asked why? He said that he already told my doctor and they should not have sent me. I was confused. I just wanted to know why. He said unless I was willing to move ALL of my meds from Target to his shop, he was unwilling to fill this med for me! I told him I was only going to need it ONETIME. It was for 60 pills of a narcotic, NOREFILLS. I have seen other scripts for WAYYYY more than 60. I told him, you know my doctor, you work with a lot of his patients, why is he doing this? He begins a long angry rant about how he is NOT going to be the shop that is known for giving out pain meds. He is not going to be the«doctor feel good» of the area. I told him the script is REAL, he knows my doctor and it is ONETIME. Why should I move all of my other meds to him just because I need him ONETIME? He gets angrier and angrier yelling that the DEA and FEDS and STATEPOLICE will raid his shop and shut him down and he was not going to do it no matter what so I might as well get out of his shop! I was shocked. I said, PLEASE just call my doctor, you know him PERSONALLY, PLEASE I need this for surgery, can’t he help me out. Long story short, NOOOOOOO. Basically, my honest opinion. He is a greedy jerk and a poor excuse for a human being. Look I GET that their is a HUGE issue with pain med abuse and fake scripts and you have to be safe. But if a customer is willing to have the doctor called to verify it was a REAL script and that no I did not steal or forge the script that would be enough. Nope. To him you are either 100% his or 100% not. This place is no where near where I live and I already have a great relationship with my current pharmacy. No way and I moving my meds to him. He has one location and it closes at 6 pm! NOWWAY!!! My advise to you, STAYTHEHELLAWAYATANYCOSTPOSSIBLE!!! If he is willing to be this big of a jerk over one script of 60 pills, God have mercy on your soul if you need something complicated! When I called my doctor to ask what to do next they were shocked too. I told them that he said that he already told them that was the rule and they should have known better to send me anyway. The nurse was SHOCKED. She said he NEVER, EVER, EVER told them that. She was really embarrassed and apologized. She told me if she knew this was his attitude she would have never sent me there. So yes, he is a liar on top of everything else. I think I figured out why his shop was empty!!! What a frustrating waste of gas, time and my life. I usually am not a vindictive person, but I do believe in Karma… I will be saying a little prayer that one day this man gets what is coming to him… like drug resistant hemorrhoids!

This is small operated pharmacy and if they could just improve their auto refill and communications it could be awesome. Until then give them a try.

Excellent service and reliable. Chetan was very helpful and professional and went above and beyond to help me with an issue with my Doctor. Also got a hard to find item for me, very impressed. It is not easy to find small business pharmacies but I will go a little further to support them as an important part of our community. Chetan is extremely helpful and considerate offering customer service that is lacking at all the big pharmacies who fail to offer customer service we all miss from businesses that actually care about their customers.

Chandler Drugs is awesome with customer service. They are able to fill my prescriptions quickly and efficiently. I highly recommend using a local«mom & pop» drugstore.

I am new to the area and was having a hard time finding a place to fill some prescriptions I needed. Chetan gladly ordered them and filled them next day. Service has been friendly and helpful.

I have been going to this location for the last 6 month for my daughters’ s acid reflux medication since she was 3 months old. Since she was so little, the GI specialist wanted it to be compounded to be sure that she got the correct dosage. This is my first experience EVER with compounding medicine. I picked Chandler Drugs because I saw it on my way home one day and decide to try it. At first the pharmacist Chetan there was very nice. However, as I came back the third and fourth time, he started to act very rude. First of all, he convinced me that my insurance did not pay for any of the compounding drugs so I had to pay out of pocket. It was my fault for taking his word on it and not checking with my insurance myself. The worst part was that my daughter has extreme acid reflux which made her throw up frequently and easily. The first time he mixed the medication differently than the first time he had mixed it, I asked him to fix the meds so she can take it easily without throwing up(the medication was very bitter and strong). He added a few more marshmallow agents which did help. Every month since then, I have asked(if not pleaded) him to make sure he does it correctly the first time around so that I don’t have to come back again to get it fix. He always assured me that he would, but it always came back as something TOTALLY different. He mixed the grape flavor(which she HATES) instead of strawberry flavor — even when I ask him NOT to. When I ask him to remake it, he got upset and mixed it again and considered that a BIGFAVOR to me… which was really an inconvenience to me to go back and forth to get it fixed. The WORST part of all this he OVERCHARGED me on the meds!!! And YES, my compounded medication is covered by insurance!!! Since going to a new pharmacy yesterday, with insurance– I paid $ 20 instead of my $ 100 per month. He was adamant that NO insurance covered compounding medications. ITDOES!!! He is very unprofessional! It has been a long over due discovery for me to find another mixing pharmacy to find out that I was COMPLETELYRIPPEDOFF, LIEDTO and got BADCUSTOMERSERVICE!!! DON’T COMEHEREGUYS!!! He doesn’t care about his patients, its just money in his pocket and his medication mixtures is CRAP!!! I RARELYEVER write reviews but this guy needs this review to change his way of practicing… I would give NOSTARS if I could!!!

I was not impressed at all. He told me that my insurance did not cover Niacin, and sweet talked me into paying over $ 98 for a 30 day supply because my cholesterol was out of control and needed immediate attention! After about 20 minutes of trying to figure out what to do, what route to take, I bit the bullet and paid for the 30 day supply. Later I took his meds to Target… Target RX would have charged me $ 3.72 for 100 pills. I am so furious that this man has the audacity to pride himself on Personalized Service and Affordable Prices.

I just started using this compounding pharmacy a couple of months ago, and I am quite impressed. It’s convenient, fast, and the pharmacist is very kind and helpful. He is able to offer same day service at competitive prices, and makes it a point to remember your name when you come in. He is also able to compound medications for pets, which is even more convenient than the mail-order company I currently use.

Chandler Drugs is a great and convenient drug store. Not only is Chetan Khatri, pharmacy manager, friendly and helpful but this store is like an apothecary store. He is able to get certain drugs that are not on hand in a very timely manner. I was personally called with a follow up as to exactly when my prescription would be ready and then another call that morning to say it had arrived. Chetan is passionate about what he is doing and this store. I would recommend Chandler Drugs for any of your prescription needs. Thank you Chetan!
