Chandler Tumbleweed Park

This is one of my favorite parks closer to home. Today, I rode my mountain bike here and noticed so much that was going on in this park on a Saturday morning. First, the chuck wagon festival was here with plenty of parking available. Then, I saw a huge birthday party in the covered area not too far away. In a different grass area, I saw SRP staffs hosting some local events that includes one food truck and Italian shave ice truck. When we rode back in circle on the opposite side of the park, we saw adults playing football, kids playing soccer, and a recreation center for the citizen of Chandler. I also saw many dog owners walking their dogs.
This is definitely a great park for different types of activities that you may be looking for. I cannot be any happier to live so close by.

This review is tough. Lots to do. Great fireworks show. Absolutely horrendous parking as in, we sat and waited 20+ minutes and didn’t move. Whomever was directing traffic was absolutely terrible. Learn how to move traffic along. Come on!

Came here for the JULY 4^th fireworks show which they have every year. There is a great playground for kids of all ages, rec center with activities, lots of space. If only it wasn’t so dang hot in the summer!
