Dickerson Orthodontics

I seriously love Dickerson orthodontics. I got my braces off almost 7 years ago. When I was still having appointments there I was in high school and they would come pick me up for my appointments ! The staff has always been really awesome, and you get frozen yogurt (awesome!).
The interaction that I had today made me think to come leave a review. Last night while I was eating dinner, I felt something poke me. To my surprise, it was my permanent retainer !! Eekkk! So I immediately starting googling and learned that permanent retainers, are not so permanent and often need to be replaced. So I called 5 or so orthodontists in my local area and most refused to see me since I wasn’t a prior patient, and the one who would wanted $ 550! I called Dickerson orthodontics to see if my removable retainer would suffice until I came back to AZ for a visit in a few months. I spoke to Charlotte, who was extremely nice. And she offered to call an orthodontist she knew in the area I’m in now to see if they could get me in ! I can’t even believe that, I was really impressed with the customer service they provide. I would recommend this place to anyone who is thinking about getting braces !

Wonderful experience. Was referred here by our dentist for a consult for my 10 year old. The staff was very attentive to my wife and I but specially with my son, really made us all feel at ease. They presented two very clear option plans and there was no pressure. Still can’t believe how comfortable the whole experience was.

Dr. D, thank you for giving my twin boys and daughter smiles that will last a life time! You are truly the best and I love the entire staff!

UPDATE:
I finally got those suckers off, 3 LOOOONG years later. I’m wearing clear retainers now and I am thinking of switching to traditional retainers (wire) because I feel that the invisilign type aren’t doing what they are supposed to do. I’m not sure why I wasn’t given the option up front but I guess I’ll see!
I had been needing braces for YEARS but we could never afford them growing up… So here I am friggin 27 years old (am I supposed to say that out loud?) with a mouth full of metal!
Really, its not THAT bad. I’ve had them on since September of last year. Almost a full 11 months. My teeth are REALLY straight now! I opted for the Damon Braces, you may have seen the cheesy commercials? Well, those commercials are what sucked me in!
At Dickerson the people are really nice, they give you frozen yogurt after each visit! Todd Dickerson is great… he wears heelys! You can read about him here

Hopefully I’ll get these off soon so I can smile and not feel like such a 14 year old goober!
