My most favorite sushi place ever. I bring my two small kids here all the time. And no problem if they don’t like what they pick out, for 2 $ and with a wide variety they can try again and I’ll eat their leftover no problem(:

Great place for good sushi! Very family friendly and nice for a quick lunch date. We’ve been coming here for years and we love it. Great food, amazingly nice staff and even better prices!

Funny story, I walked by this place the other day and mentioned to my fiancé that it must be gross since the sushi was only $ 2. I was wrong. Wrong, wrong, wrong. I came here by myself the other day for dinner(it was a little after 6) and it was pretty empty which I liked. You’re greeted by the hostess and told to sit wherever you want around the bar/conveyor belt with different types of sushi rolls, shrimp tempura, sesame balls, and other eats. I will say a lot of the rolls are just a different take on a California roll(Cali roll topped with avocado, Cali roll topped with salmon, etc.) but there’s a little sign before each new roll that lets you know what it is. Some reviews mentioned that this wasn’t the best quality sushi but I really liked it. And there’s like 2 – 4 pieces of sushi per $ 2 plate depending on the side of the roll so you really get your money’s worth. I paid about $ 20 for 7 plates of sushi, a drink, and tip(I didn’t leave a huge tip since you serve yourself) and I ate like a king. I plan on making weekly sushi trips here since it’s so close to my fiancé’s job. The idea of good cheap sushi just excites me so much.

Conveyor belt on the bar brings every kind of sushi right up to you! Most of them had covers, it would have been great if they all did. But it was nice to dabble and try all the different kinds. The staff seemed rushed at first, but they were friendly. We will definitely come back for more!

I love revolving sushi, and when this place was recommended to me, I just had to try it. I was very pleased! All of the sushi was fresh, two to three pieces each place was the perfect size, and the price can’t be beat. It’s only $ 2a plate. Love it! I will definitely be back!

Really inexpensive Japanese food. It was so unfortunate, they were very disorganized, messed up my order, perhaps understaffed? I saw sushi chef working really hard so I didn’t want to complain then. Price is very reasonable. Each lunch dish is around 6 – 7 dollars, sushi plate is $ 2 each on conveyer belt. Food tastes decent for the price paid. Only if their service was good…

First time here and love the food. I’m visiting from Los Angeles where we have a lot of Japanese food. This place is up there with the best. Nice people too. And being from LA, I can’t believe how low the prices are.

This must be the fourth or fifth time that I come here. I love the concept of a sushi train, when the sushi are fresh of course. It allows you to try different kind of sushi for a reasonable price. Eastwind Sushi & Grill is a great place to have lunch, especially if you’re in a hurry and don’t have time to stay at the table for too long. The sushi are very nice, my favorite is the Baked Crab! All plates are $ 2 which is very practical when it comes to pay, count your plates and multiply by it by $ 2! The reason why I am only giving 4 stars is because we came twice around 7:30pm and the sushi were not as fresh as they should be. Must be because it’s late and they close at 9pm but when I eat sushi, the first thing that comes to mind is freshness!

An awesome concept with amazing sushi at such great value. There is a variety of sushi, appetizers, and desserts on the conveyor belt. Our waitress was great too!

Great sushi, great value! Astrid and Rose are super friendly! We came here for our daughter’s birthday. The staff fulfilled our request to send her cake down the sushi conveyor belt. When it arrived in front of her, the staff surrounded her to sing. What a great experience for her. Thank you Eastwind for making her birthday dinner extra special :)

Food goes above and beyond in creativity and flavor. Upon first visit, there is something to be said about parking. It is interesting, but worth walking over the rubble even in high heels. There is a very welcoming feel as you are greeted. The staff is very friendly and attentive. And the rolls!!! No waiting here you simply pick what you like off of the heavenly rotating appetizing rolls. Definitely try the octopus and climax roll. You won’t regret it!

Good sushi for the price. You can’t really complain. I mean it’s 2 dollar plates. The Asu, Crunch roll and New York crunch is pretty good.

It would be nice if there was a paper menu available for people to reference should they want takeout. Or a website…

We traded in Teharu for this place. It is nice and the rolls are more sophisticated. However it could use a bit more variety. There are several variations of fried rolls with spicy mayo. Some of us like straight up sushi! It is family owned and operated and they are doing a great job!

I really enjoyed this place and their sushi rolls! I’m a big fan of spicy rolls and they have a large selection of different types to choose from. I’ve gone to other rotating sushi bars in the valley and they all seem relatively the same in price. This place is smaller that others so don’t really expect to go here with a large party. I would’ve given it a higher rating except that they never cleaned up the seat next to me while I was there. I guess it was a good thing because then I wouldn’t be bothered with any cleaning materials and smells while I’m eating, but at the same time I didn’t like the thought of someone else’s dirty dishes sitting next to me. I’ll definitely have to come back during a weekend night to see how the ambiance is.

Eastwind is great. I have been to places with the $ 4 sushi boats that float around but this conveyer system is different. They are 2 piece sashimi or 3 – 4 piece rolls and ALL the plates are $ 2! What a deal. You get so much more variety and there is no waiting! There is a crowns plaza hotel and shops across the street so there is a lot of demand for parking. Worst case scenario you park at the hotel. Sushi was great. I had no complaints. Refilled drinks whenever they were low and they were busy. You could eat here on a 10 minute break since you don’t have to wait to order.
