First Choice Locksmith

Guy came within 10 minutes. Very friendly and only cost me $ 55 for locking myself out of the house. I called the 480 number as well and had no problems. Will call them again!!!

Ok I am just seething and boiling from this awful, horrible, terrible company. I can’t believe how full of rage I am right now. First of all let me say this is for the Tempe 480 number for 1^st choice, they have a few, I called because tonight I was dumb enough to lock my keys in the house, just turned the lock by habit, probably the 5^th time its happened. I look up Tempe locksmith and 1^st Choice is top of the list, my first choice, ugh. It advertises $ 29 locksmith service and 15-​minute guarantee, sweet! The guy that answered was pleasant enough and seemed like he cared about helping me ASAP. He told me it would cost a $ 25 base fee and the $ 15 and up depending on the lock. Okay no problem I’m thinking, it was only the bottom lock, plain jane, regular doorknob, no more than $ 20. The guy says his tech is on the 101 and 202, that’s about 10 minutes from my house. The tech called me about 5 minutes later and he said he was right down the street. Ok 10 min later he calls and says he can’t find it on his GPS, even though I spelled the street out and this house had been here for over 50 years, ok I try to explain more in depth and he says ok. 15 minutes go by, still not here. He calls again, they finally found it on the map, hallelujah :), its getting dark, I am getting pissed and thinking they better offer me a discount. It has been a full 45 – 50 minutes now and he is finally pulling up still missing my house. Then he is waiting in his car for a few more minutes (my anger building) He comes up and is this fake sort of friendly, no apology for lateness, whatever. He starts examining my door (last guy I had popped it open in 5 seconds, no exam needed. (twss?)) He asks how much it has cost in the past. $ 50 average I say ($ 50 twice, $ 60, and $ 45) He was like, «wow, really are you sure?» Um yeah I am a professional outer-​locker (?). I’m thinking ok he probably thinks that is high and will give me a good deal (The WEBSITE ADVERTISES $ 29 LOCK OUT SERVICE). He takes my Driver license and starts writing down my info. Then he drops the big one, «Yeah were a little more expensive than other places, it’s going to be $ 125.»!!! I immediately blurt out «yeah, there is no way in hell, I don’t think so». He says, «So you don’t want me to open the door?» «No thanks, that is overpriced». He says, ‘Well I am still going to have to charge you a $ 35 service fee”. I just lose it about then, yelling, cussing, f$&* that, are you f*&^ing kidding me! Get the hell out of here dude, there is no way, I don’t even have any money, jerk, its in the house, retard. The dude doesn’t want to give me my ID back and is trying to call his manager. I tell him I am leaving and to give it back or I am calling the cops. Dude tells me manager will give me 20% off. I am about to hit this person, I was shaking with anger. «Go to hell!» I am in my car getting my friend to come help me and the dude is in his car not leaving. He comes back up to my car window and puts me on the phone with his manager, who tried to tell me about the service charge, I tell that m*fer I am not paying a dime, the dude was 30 min late, I should be getting a deal not scammed and that I was going to report them to the BBB. He shut up then and duder left. Needless to say I will never call them or any other locksmith again, I would rather break a window in my house (didn’t have to, thank god). Also this is my testament, if that jerkoff tries to come pull some sh*t at my house when were not here, we will all know who it is.
