I hosted an afternoon tea today for 4 little girls and a few adults at Global Tea Mart. It was such a lovely experience! Kim and Diane were so gracious. The space is small but adorable, and they provided cups, saucers, plates, napkins and silverware. Diane gave us a brief history of afternoon tea, and an etiquette lesson. The girls loved it. They prepared 4 teas for our little group, and kept it flowing. We couldn’t have asked for more. The price was extremely reasonable as well. I highly recommend this place. Make sure to buy some tea on the way out.

Great find in Chandler! I’m new to tea, but know quite a few kinds that I like, and I prefer to get looseleaf and infuse the tea myself, so this is awesome to live near. The first time I went it, I asked about a tea that I got in NYC and haven’t seen anywhere else around here and Diane, the lovely owner, immediately offered to order it for me. Since then, I’ve noticed they started carrying small sample sizes of some of the teas so you can taste it before committing to 4 ounces. It’s also adorable, and would be a great place to go for gifts.

This tea store is a hidden treasure. They carry everything a tea lover could ever need and more! They have the nicest little gifts also and great prices, a huge tea selection and the owner is so nice and helpful. Oh and did I mention they sell the best chocolate I’ve ever had?
