I contracted for exterior painting of my home in November 2015 with Joe Harris of I H Construction & Painting. The work was to be completed while I was out of town, upon returning I found that many items were not completed or poorly done, i.e. missed caulking, failed to varnish the front door, did not power wash stone work, did not texture stucco were needed, did not fill all cracks and holes prior to painting — just painted over them, over spray of paint on pool deck because it was not covered properly, just to mention a few.
I have contacted Joe Harris by text, email and phone most of which went unanswered and when he did respond he blamed the poor work on a disgruntled employee and said he would be out to correct the work and failed to show on both occasions. In addition he painted my next door neighbors house also and failed to varnish his front door.
I would not recommend or use this person or company.

I have used Ike Harris to paint both the exterior of my home in 2010 and the interior in 2013. Both times he did an excellent job. I spoke to several of his other customers before the first job and they all gave him high marks.
His employees are very nice and helpful. Ike came by several times during this last job to make sure everything was being done to his/​my satisfaction.
I would definitely recommend this gentleman.
