Ink Bomb

I’ve never had a tattoo so I was a bit nervous. I wanted a small dove on my wrist.
Manny was wonderful. He explained everything to me very well before he started. He drew up the design for me from a photo I emailed him and it was exactly what I wanted. He gave clear instructions on how to care for my tattoo afterwards. I think what I liked best was that even though I got a rather small, simple design… Manny still gave the time and attention to my tattoo that he would to someone getting something large and elaborate. I looked at his portfolio and he has some AMAZING work. I would highly recommend Manny.

Love the feel of the shop and enjoyed the friendliness of the staff. My work was done by Sophia Valverde and it’s amazing! Will be back for more!

I have never been disappointed with inkbomb! Not only have I been beyond pleased with the three artists that I’ve been tattooed by, but my friend (who has a LOT more tattoos than me) refuses to go anywhere else because they are THAT GOOD! I cannot wait until I have more money so I can start my half sleeve

I have always had the best experience here! Sophia is my artist, but all of the artists are amazing! Every visit I have been, I have never noticed a customer unhappy with their tattoos, and all of the tattoos are brilliant! I will never stray away from this shop and will definitely get all of my future tattoos here!

I was recently (june 2014) in chandler on a «girls trip» with my friends and we decided to go get tattoos. We went into the shop to check it out. The artists were friendly and the place was clean. We set up appts for a few days later. My friends all had a different artist and they were all satisfied with the work he did. The shop owner, who said she had been tattooing for 30 years, volunteered to do mine and I thought… sweet she should be good! This was not my first tattoo so I should have known better! That night when I took the bandage off I could tell that it was seriously not right and the more I looked at it the more I wanted to crawl out of my skin! It seriously looked like she took a sharpie and doodled on my wrist! The lines were all shaky and the whole thing didn’t make sense. As soon as I got back to Denver I went to a local shop that I am familiar with and showed them what happened. I had to wait 5 weeks for it to heal before they could repair what she did. She charged me $ 120 and then it cost me another $ 200 and 2 ½ hours to fix it! That’s the last time I get a tattoo on the fly! I would definitely avoid this place!

Today I walked in to the shop to see if they could fit me in for my first tattoo, Sophia was more than happy to fit me in and to do my tattoo, she explained each step to me as we went along. My tattoo turned out great, thanks to Sophia. I will be planning my next one and returning to Ink Bomb.

I had a tattoo done years ago and the man who had done it, didn’t listen to my needs. I went to Ink Bomb to have it fixed and Manny was such an amazing artist. I told him what I wanted and he took it and brought it to life. I was utterly amazed. He nailed it perfectly and then some! People stop me all the time to ask about my tatt. It is gorgeous and it represents my vision perfectly. I loved his art so much, I even bought a piece of his wall art. The other artists working there were all doing amazing work and the atmosphere was intimate, comfortable, and relaxing. I can’t recommend this shop enough and especially Manny!

The whole experience was great… and it was my first tat. Sophia was awesome. Thank you for the great service, comforting atmosphere, and good people who are true artists.

Top notch!!! I had a very large piece drawn up and done by Manny, let me just say it is amazing. He did an excellent job. Three of my friends had work done at the same time by Donavan and theirs are excellent as well. Everyone there is great! Can’t wait to get my next one.

Called on Sunday afternoon which is very hard day to get in due to limited hours, not here I was greeted over the phone very professionally and they got me in quickly when I described the predicament I was in. Sophia is fairly new at the trade but she was outstanding and offered many suggestions. All of her equipment was sterile and I watched her take everything out of the package, I am very happy with the end results as I posed many obstacles due to the other art work I have on my arm (Sleeve) it was funny because she had me lay on a professional table and usually I like to talk and get to know my Tattoo artist but since I was laying down haha I fell asleep a couple of times. She did such a good job with my cover up that I was able to schedule another appointment for the next day to fix another I wasn’t surprised Sophia did an even better job this time, we spent a lot of time together this day and I am very pleased with her work.
One more point I would like to make is the Ink Bomb entire staff was great to me, each offered up suggestions and for that guys THANK YOU, the shop was clean, playing some good 80’s retro remix music that was good to create a vibe in the house, Again thanks to Sophia and the entire Ink Bomb staff,
Getting into the parking lot can be a challenge because of the road work they are doing on Ray and Alma School

Overall my experience was good here. But I don’t understand how every tattoo artist I have ever dealt with acts with the demeanor as though you are ordering a sandwich and not choosing something to mark your body with for all of eternity. I get it that they are artists and extremely talented but when we asked for just a small adjustment on the mock up on the drawing it was like we were being high maintenance. Mind you my husband and I were just getting our wedding date done on our wrists. Maybe we won’t end up being facebook friends with our tattoo artist or anything but just a little more warm feeling would be awesome especially when dealing with something like a permanent marking on your body.
But yes, I agree with the other reviewers that it was clean and we are both very happy with the final product.

I agree with the other reviewers. Ink bomb is definitely a shop that has a family vibe. All the tattooers are down to earth and have you, their customer in mind. There are usually 3 or 4 tattooers there, giving you a wide variety on technique, style, and experience. all of which are important when picking your tattooer. I suggest always going in and having a consultation and looking at each persons portfolio to choose someone who fits your style whether it be «New school» or «Traditional» This shop has on open layout and a friendly vibe which allows your to let your guard down a bit. because we all know tattoo shops can be intimidating…
I will definitely be recommending this to all my friends and family.
