This is an outstanding little bakery inside of Lee Lee Market. You really owe it to yourself to come here!!! My squeeze was about to have her birthday, and she had casually remarked that she’d like to try one of their cakes from here. So I came by to order a cake, and they were *really* pleasant to work with for designing the cake. They have several models, several options for fillings, icings, topping, etc., and their prices are extremely reasonable. While I was there, I figured I might as well pick up a few pieces of other cakes, just to try ‘em out. You know. They were looking at me. *THEN* when I went to pay, I noticed their selection of baked buns and all sorts of goodies, so I had to get a few curry beef buns and BBQ pork buns. Man oh man, I’m glad I did, because those have now become a regular staple in the casa. So I ordered my girlfriend’s cake, and arranged to pick it up the next day. Well, when I arrived the next day to pick it up, it wasn’t ready. There’d been a misunderstanding on the ticket(a really simple mix-up, honestly) but the cake wasn’t ready. The girl who was working there was so apologetic, got right on the phone with the owner, and asked if I could come back in an hour to pick it up. They literally dropped everything that they were doing in order to make that cake for me, and I really appreciated that. They were very apologetic and kind about the whole thing. So yeah… great food, great people, and definitely worth checking out!

Nice and fresh. Can’t live without their buns. If you like asian style pastries(less sweet, more flavor), definetly do not miss this one.

I’m very picky about my asian sponge cake. For years, I’ve always gotten my cake from Asahi Bakery, which is quite a drive away from where I live. Now I found a new place, located right inside of Lee Lee Supermarket and their cake is really good! I’m glad that I don’t have to travel far from my area to another bakery anymore when there is one right inside Lee Lee. One-stop shopping!

My go-to Asian bakery! Love their steam buns and bread. I am addicted to pastry and sweet things but don’t like those American style bakery. So finding out this Chinese style bakery really turned me up. I usually order over $ 10 each time to get 1 point until getting enough 10 points on the stamp there would be a free one-time $ 10 purchase. I love their everything and like to try new things for my every order. The staffs were friendly and easy to talk with. I will definitely recommend this bakery to anyone who love Asian pastry and sweetish kinda desserts like me xD

I don’t care for the crunchies(onion?) in their white BBQ pork buns but here’s what I have purchased that I have enjoyed: Han and cheese: Yum! Actually egg(tamago omelette style) and Ham inside a fluff bun with cheese baked on top, so it’s actually a lot heavier than a ham and cheese croissant. Don’t expect gooey cheese and you’ll be happy. Almond cookies: Not mind blowing, but good. A step above the processed shelf-stable ones. Custard Bun: The baked one with the light swirls on top. Light, perfect mild level of sweetness, and super fluffy. Custard Tart: Very rich. Not as buttery and flakey as some dim sum places but quite good and a decent size. Baked BBQ Pork Bun: Very thick and viscous(goopy) sauce with the chopped pork… probably too much sauce, as it was very sweet. Still, a good size and quite edible. I’d say it’s «okay.» The prices are extremely affordable. I picked up three buns and a tart for a little over $ 6. Note there is a minimum for credit/debit card usage.

Located inside Lee Lee Oriental Supermarket, J. Fortune Bakery sits next to the produce and baked goods section. They make a number of steamed buns, cakes, breads, and pastries Asian style. The wedding cakes looked gorgeous. The woman in front was very helpful with my selection of goods to take home. I love green tea buns, bbq and savory buns, and red bean paste buns. These are so good and they had each and every one that they make by hand. She suggested a rolled green tea cake, which I thought was going to be a bit much but when I got it home, it was so light and creamy. It was filled with a green tea whipped cream. Yum. I ordered steamed chicken buns and the bbq buns, which were moist, soft, and had very light but good flavors. The red bean paste buns were more dense and had a great sweet red bean flavor. The prices were pretty reasonable as well, I had a small bag filled with goodies for $ 12. A definite must stop whenever I am at Lee Lee’s! Also, ask for a discount card. After you collect 10 stamps, you get a $ 10 free reward. I am not sure about the expiration date, so you will have to ask.
