Jason currently manages my retirement portfolio, my insurance needs, and set up and manages the 401k program for my 25 employees. All financial consultants generally cite the same reasons for hiring them — trust, competence, a long term view, a strong brand behind them, a breadth of services, etc, etc. They all say it — and I believe they genuinely mean it. So how is Jason different? Put it this way — I am a pretty tough client to have. I think I know my way around the markets, I’m fairly savvy, and know the Ps and Qs about investing. But I don’t have the time or the inclination to pore over charts and news… nor would I want to spend my time doing that if I had it. I have a family, business, friends… and the occasional football game to watch. What I do want — is someone that indulges my questions promptly when I ask them, holds the financial fort down when I disappear into my work and family for quarters at a time, competently manages my assets, looks out for me when I am missing something that is important to my portfolio(whether he is managing it or not)…and generally treats me like the responsible, teachable, but busy as hell person I am. It doesn’t hurt when over beers your guy challenges you to ask the questions that really matter… not the«what’s you number» BS… but rather that«what’s important to you, to your family, now and later… what do you want your legacy to be»…and«what are you most excited about, or most afraid of»…doing so without using fear, uncertainty and doubt. This is what Jason does for me, my family and my business. And he is not just a quality guy — he’s tip top. That’s it. You should hire the guy.
