As far as service goes! I went in to get a filter for the house and had no idea really where to go or what I was really looking for and I believe his name is Bryan? Starts with a B and works in Parts and Services. I see some very negative reviews and don’t understand why some people now a days are so critical and very quick to judge! I had a great experience! Bryan was very helpful and I look forward to seeing him again when we need another filter!

I did have the pleasure of speaking with Mike Mattox the GM for Kinetico AZ who handled this horrible experience diligently, showing absolute compassion & understanding. I do believe the appropriate action was taken against the Service Manager Brian and while I won’t remove my review because it simply goes against the intent & purpose of sites such as this, It’s important to note that the sales & installation experience was fantastic along with the product itself and that it was just an issue with this one specific employee who really shouldn’t be in the position he is in given this obviously wasn’t a one off experience. I do still recommend buying this product and I simply suggest that you speak to Mike Mattox if you have any service questions or concerns. I also suggest if you need a service call post install, that you ask upfront if there are any fees involved in doing so, not asking and not being told about the service fees by the scheduler is what initiated the call to the service manager and this experience.

I’ve had a Kinetico system for 10 years(soft water and R.O.) Just after my warranty expired on the R.O. the bladder(membrane) went bad and I was told it would be $ 400.00 to fix or I could buy a new system. I spoke to the General Manager who tried telling me that no other system on the market at Lowes /Home Depot would last a year on the membrane, when I tried to inform him of a friend of mine that has had the Costco system for years(never replaced the membrane) but he kept talking and told me not to interrupt him — I asked him if he knew who the customer was? Obviously i don’t think he has any customer service skills. When I look back at all the money I spent with this company, I know I was never informed of the life expectancy of the bladder/membrane. In addition filter replacements are very expensive. I lived in an older home and the soft water while it helped some did not do away with all the hard water /calcium. Again, that wasn’t part of the sales upfront. I’m posting this, just to state if you have money to keep throwing at their service for a product, in my opinion, is average at best — have at it. I just bought a R.O. at Costco(Watts Première) that included all the cartridges for $ 200, easy install and filter replacements are inexpensive. In my opinion Kinetico is HIGHLY overrated — I personally will never due business with this company.

Can I give zero stars? Spent $ 6500 on a water softener system that sprung a leak after 2 months. I now have $ 5000 of water damage to my house and personal items. Local office is no help. The defective part is being sent to the corporate office to be «analyzed»…I’m sure that’s a really quick process. Meanwhile I’m stuck with a garage that is torn apart so water damage can dry… and to top it off there is a new leak in the water softener system. Their system cost about double what I paid for my previous system from home depot, and I never had a problem with that one in the years that I lived at my previous home. Too bad I fell for the slick Kinetico presentation. The salesman is a fast talking used car salesman type who never shuts up long enough for you to get a word in. The whole experience has been a complete disaster.

As the ONLY service company and installer for Kinetico Water Softener Systems in the Phoenix area — I would highly DISCOURAGE one from using this company or purchasing a system from them. After purchasing a house with an old(13+ year) Kinetico water system, we were well aware that our system could be a money pit — however were assured by each of the 3 service reps that came to fix it that it would last us many more years with a simple fix. After spending $ 700 last year on service, the system flooded our just emptied septic tank(costing us another $ 660) and the company is now claiming that we should purchase a new one($ 3500). And when I called to speak to the manager he basically said I should have been standing over my water softener system to ensure that it was working properly, offered no apologies and no responsibility for the fact that the $ 700 spent last year was no fix at all. Save your cash and buy a cheaper system with a company that understands service.
