Hyak came out this morning and got the fans running smooth and quiet, no more distractions from the swinging chains and moving light. He was pleasant to speak with and quite knowledgeable. Good employee to represent Lamps Plus. Thanks for the help

My original experience with sales person Kendra in August was great. My most recent experience was awful. I arrived at 7pm to choose a chandelier, the store was open til 8. the store was understaffed. I waited on line around 7:40 to receive help in making a decision and after 10 minutes of waiting was told the store was closing at 8pm. The sales person was clearly not in the mood to help me or the others who were waiting at the counter for help. I left the store disgusted, no way i would trust a salesperson who was in rush to closeup shop.

You get what you pay for. It is definitely on the expensive end, but the quality is the deal maker, not the deal breaker. I challenge any other store to have the breadth of selection of all types of lighting. They even have the most gigantic selection of bulbs I have ever seen.

I purchased a mirror from this location in mid-February. The mirror was a «close out» item as it had 2 small areas of tarnish. As I didnt mind the areas of tarnish, I opted to purchase the mirror to capitalize on the deal. The mirror was taken to the back and wrapped by a stock associate. He assisted us with placing the mirror flat in the back of my SUV. I drove 4 miles to my home and moved the mirror to a guest room where it was placed, fully wrapped, flat on a queen bed and the door was closed. I unwrapped the mirror approximately 2 weeks later to find that it had a large crack in it. Once the crack was noted, I did not unwrap it further. I brought the mirror back the store with my receipt and explained the situation to the shift/floor manager. She informed me that she could not exchange the item as I consented to buy the mirror«as is» per close out pricing. We informed her that we inspected the mirror thoroughly prior to purchase and there was no crack present. She offered to exchange the mirror but we would have to pay the difference between«close out» price and price of a new mirror. We asked to speak with her manager who was not available. She provided us with cards for assistant manager(available next day) and general manager(available in 2 days). We called and spoke with Brandon, assistant manager, the next day to discuss situation. When explaining the situation, Brandon stated«it must’ve cracked in your car». We informed him that is also a chance that the mirror could’ve cracked during the wrapping process. He offered to ask the stock associate if he caused the crack. I think everyone knows what that response would be. We explained that we would like to have the defective mirror replaced. He offered up the same deal as the aforementioned floor manager and offered to return the mirror. I placed call to the Corporate Center in California and requested to speak to a regional manager. I was informed that I could speak to an area distributor, but they do not oversee local store management. We made decision to return the mirror and we were given a full refund. While I understand the implications of purchasing a close out item, there were no cracks present during time of purchase. Somewhere during the wrapping and loading process, a crack occurred. While I know there is no way to prove who or what caused this, Lamps Plus should stand by their product. Additionally, they should respect their customers when an issue requires resolution. Asking for a replacement product does not seem like an irrational request — regardless of pricing. What happened to good customer service and«the customer is always right». I would recommend buying items from big box stores(aka Home Depot or Lowe’s). It’s very unfortunate that a small store/company does not believe in good customer service to make customers want to return.

Oh man is this place overpriced. I love chandeliers. I need one in every room in order to be happy. So, I shop a lot for chandeliers and I feel I have a good guess on what they should be priced. As I walked up and down the aisles, I was shocked by how overpriced everything was. They do have beautiful fixtures but you have to sell a kidney to buy one.

I like this place. My girlfriend and I had been meaning to check this place out forever and finally got the chance to do so. Talk about selection! We wandered around for a little while just taking it all in. The lady that helped us(I think her name was Darcy) was delightful. She explained how everything worked and that they had an even bigger selection online. They can print out pictures of anything they have so you can take it home and think about it. I also like the fact that they have a 60 day return policy with no restocking fees. We found a couple pieces that we were interested in but we are in the information gathering stages as we aren’t at the point of making the changes we want yet. I will definitely say that I was impressed and will keep this place as a contender for future purchases. It may be a little pricier but the selection is great. Make sure to sign up for the rewards program because they send you information that helps save you some money. Check them out.

Well if you’re still stuck in the 90s «modern» or want to find those homey cozy light fixtures, you’ll find a range of styles here … bits of everything but pretty pricey after sightseeing your typical home improvement box stores. Still a solid choice if you can’t find anything elsewhere, if you’re willing to pay for it.
