Los Arboles Apartments

These weren’t bad when we lived there but the management were pretty incompetent at the time. The maintenance guys were great and we had no issues with the apartment itself. Yeah they appliances were a little dated but we could live with that. We never heard our neighbors but the lady downstairs from us was absolutely nuts and would try to get us in trouble. To the point where we asked to move to a different unit and they said none were available. There was a feral cat problem and they will attack your dogs. The complex didn’t really do anything about them either.
There are better places to live for the same price but this place wasn’t bad.

They have made this the ABSOLUTE worst moving experience in my entire life. Nice to your face, horrible behind your back. Kitchen was disgustingly dirty and full of roach feces which they refused to clean up! Our apartment wasn’t even ready when we showed up with our moving trucks the day we were supposed to move in, and we had already paid our first month rent and security deposit!!! Unprofessional. We were forced to pay installation and turn on charges twice because they put us in a temporary unit until our was supposedly ready and available, which, as I previously stated, it wasn’t because it was FILTHY!!! Sickening. And now they are harassing us over having our BBQ on our front porch, although SEVERAL other residents have a BBQ as well. Anything to make us more miserable.

We rented our apartment sight-​unseen as we were coming from Alaska. It felt risky, but once we arrived my mind was put at ease. The grounds are very well kept and irrigated daily to allow for lots of greenery. There are plenty of trees to provide shade. Walkways are kept clear of debris. I occasionally see animal excrement, but that is due to irresponsible pet owners. Pools are kept clean and well maintained. We had an issue with the pool locks not working, but it was addressed within half an hour of me telling management about it.
We’ve had two maintenance issues. One with our garbage disposal was addressed within 48 hours — within the time frame they said. The other was our deadbolt stopped working on the key side. This was addressed within two hours. Both maintenance guys were friendly and competent.
Our unit does have outdated appliances excepting the refrigerator, but you can request a unit with newer ones. The apt was clean and had no bad smells when we moved in.
There is an additional charge for covered parking, BUT this is clearly stated online AND in the lease agreement. It’s not a hidden fee. We are having to cut our lease short by 6 months because we are moving again and there is quite a bit of expense in that, but again, it is clearly stated in the lease agreement.
Management has been really helpful with everything. The office is open every day of the week so it’s easy to get an issue addressed.
We only rarely hear our neighbors and it’s never anything out of the ordinary. The one thing of concern is that several residents seem to have cats that they let roam free on the grounds. No doubt they’re leaving excrement around and they could also be hit by cars in the complex.
