Mara Baier, MD

Pros: Dr. Baier is great. She is kind, listens, communicates well, has always provided accurate diagnoses and excellent referrals when needed. Best Dr. I have ever had and I have gone to her for more than 15 years.
Negatives:
New staff from Dignity at the front desk and office supervisor are a total nightmare. None of them belong working in customer service positions, least of all at a medical office working with people who don’t feel well. Gave misinformation. Rude. Charged $ 103 extra dollars ‘per Dignity policy’ because I was a ‘new’ patient; I have been a patient of Dr. Baier for 15 years. I am not sure that is even legal. Doesn’t say much about Dignity and how they operate if these are the kind of people they hired to replace the excellent front desk staff that worked there previously. Even my pharmacist remarked on how rude the front desk was when she called. The next day the pharmacy had to call an antibiotic change in to the office. They called in the morning and when they asked me to follow up with the office at 2pm the front desk response was that the Dr. wasn’t in. They just let it sit all day with no communication to the pharmacy.

She’s been my doctor for last 15years. She’s great and she cares. I’m falling apart, and she puts me back together. Thanks Dr. Baier!
