I’m saddened to learn that Nosh has closed. Chef Stacey had created a dining experience that was desperately needed in the vacuum of Northwest Chandler. You could count on the knowledgable and friendly wait-staff to guide you through an experience you wouldn’t forget. The quality wines and beers and the eclectic menu kept us coming back often to try something new on every visit.

Everything was amazing! The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The food was terrific. I had the shrimp scampi, and I was not disappointed. The pinot noir accompanied the dish very well! I also met a great couple that sat next to me and let me sample some of the wine they were drinking. Overall, phenomenal, and I will definitely be back the next time I’m in Phoenix!

Honest to God this is happening right now:: the server says he regrets to inform me they’re out of stock on some items. Which items? Literally ALL they’re entrees and pizzas! ALL. No you’re not reading that wrong. I can order a salad or bruschetta. What??? This is my second time here and the first time I was way underwhelmed. So much for second chances.

5 of us went to HH. There was no wine menu, the server had to recite the wine list for us. Chardonnay was not chilled very well. The list of cons is as follows: Weird table set up, only tables and seats for 4, had to grab an extra chair. 2 servers for the entire restaurant. BF ordered the wagyu burger and onion rings — confirmed the burger was cooked to death after asking it to be medium, onion rings were cooked in very old oil. My watermelon salad was sad and underwhelming — there was no flavor and the presentation was lackluster. Service was a little slow in the beginning but towards the end of our meal, he kept trying to take my plates multiple times as I was eating. This was everyone’s first time here and we were not impressed. The reason why I tried it is because it is next to the hot yoga place I used to go to. We won’t be coming back as it was such a disappointment!

Went for HH with my girls. Wine pairing/were nice. Our server suggested a nice red. Ambiance was quaint and warm. However the bartender was a B. At 8:28 I asked an employee what time the restaurant closed(online said 9:00pm, but was asking because the place was dead). The bartender immediately responded«now». Why are you rushing out the only paying customers in the place. I for tell this place will be closed in a year.

Came to the restaurant again tonight. Worst experience ever. Derick the waiter was not attentive at all. He was seen behind the bar drinking a bloody Mary. I’m very disappointed in Nosh. Won’t be back.

I love this place! It’s tiny but so cozy. Wonderful ambiance. Good for a girl night or a date. Live music was there when we went on a Tuesday. This guy is there every Tues and Thurs and he was awesome. Comfortable seating/tables and the service was excellent. Brianna was our waitress and she was so friendly and she recommended amazing Pecan Pie with Salted Carmel Ice cream on top and it was the best dessert I have had in SO long. Bruchetta was perfect. I have had alot of bruchetta lately at different Chandler/Gilbert restaurants and this one was so much better than the others. Rosemary Grapefruit martini was awesome as well. I recommend this place to everyone, especially if you are wanting a cozy date night with candlelight. Keep up the good work NOSH!

I just ate here for the first time a couple weekends ago. My boyfriend and I wanted to go somewhere new that had a happy hour, and we were definitely not disappointed with this spot! When we first walked in, we were greeted by young man, who asked us if we had reservations. Well apparently I’m deaf and I thought he asked us something else and I said yes… oops. When we sat down my boyfriend told me what he said and so the next time I saw our waiter I apologized to him and said we could move tables if they wanted us to. He was so nice though and he told us to stay and made us feel really welcome. The happy hour was pretty awesome. They had both wine and craft beers on the list too which was a plus. The boyfriend ordered a Deschutes grapefruit beer which is one of his favs, and I ordered a glass of white wine. For the meal, I ordered the salmon with quinoa and cous-cous. I was so pleasantly surprised at how well they prepared the salmon there. Typically at restaurants the salmon comes out dry and overcooked, however it was so tender and moist I could not believe it. It was one of the best cooked salmon pieces I have ever been served at a restaurant. My boyfriend ordered the burger and fries, and it was cool that they had so many different types of cheeses to put on your burger. I’d recommend this place to couples looking to try something new on a date night. The ambiance is cool and relaxing, and the lights are dimmed in there. Don’t be discouraged by the look of the place from the outside — it is so adorable inside! Plus service was great and the food was really great quality.

First time here… The wine was awesome! The staff is really nice, knowledgeable and attentive. They have a list of selected wines on happy hour(4 – 6 pm). Is definitely worth the try…

I really wanted to like this. The reviews were good and the menu sounded tasty. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to try anything and were made to feel pretty unwelcome. We walked in and looked around. The place is really small but they used the space well and it felt cozy. My husband and I both immediately noticed it smelled a litlle bit like eggs/sewer but we thought it would dissipate(Spoiler: it didn’t). There wasn’t a hostess or really any host stand so we weren’t quite sure if we would be seated or it was a seat yourself situation. A gentleman walked by a few minutes later and told us he would be right with us so we waited to be seated. The gentleman never returned and we saw some other employees eyeing us inquisitively. Finally a nice girl approached and asked if anyone had helped us. We said no and she took us right to a table in the back with menus. She also brought us waters and told us a server would be with us shortly. She is where the 1 star comes from since she was the only employee who treated us like customers. We looked over the menu, chose our drinks and appetizers, and waited for our server. After about 10 minutes, our server arrived and apologized for the wait saying«everyone came in at once». We waited to be sat for 5 – 10 min and then for her to arrive for 10 with no one else ever coming in the door. So I guess she was still recovering from some rush prior to us arriving. She took our drink order and rushed off without bothering to ask if we wanted appetizers or were ready to order food despite the closed menus pushed to the edge of the table that we were hoping would signal«We’re hungry and ready!» Another 10 minutes went by, no drinks arrived, our server did not return to take a food order, and we decided this place just wasn’t gonna work for us. Perhaps it was just an off night for the server, but she didn’t even pause in the story she was telling to another table when my husband tried to let her know we were going to be leaving and to cancel the drinks if they had not already been made. She very clearly did not care if we were there and honestly made us feel like she’d prefer we were not. I’m bummed we had such a bad experience here.

I am always impressed when«Pride Shows Through» in any undertaking. In this little restaurant, their Pride certainly shows through. Have had several(I guess many) of the items on their menu and each is prepared with caring and obvious love. Some(make that many!) hits and a couple of misses,(e.g. bread a bit hard) but the misses can be forgiven. Service is terrific and the prices, while for the area maybe a tad high, still within most budgets for the quality. One important note, they need(make that MUST!) update their Website so that Dinners are not disappointed by items on the website that are NOT on the menu. Incidentally, my favorite dish — The Braised Beef is to die for!

NOSH is a quiet and overlooked restaurant. Chef Stacey is a rock star in the kitchen. Jennifer does great in the front of the house. All in all great. Tonight I had the grilled Halumi cheese salad and the ribeye. Both were portion perfect, and served exactly as I asked. I finished with the chocolate bourbon pecan pie, which is spectacular. Add in a very solid beer and wine list, and you’ve got one helluva place. Go to NOSH. It is great local food.

Best kept secret in Chandler — and I hope for my sake, it stays that way. Such a cute location with nice personal touches. Chef Stacy was in the back actually cooking our meals and it could not have been better. My Giant, who is from the state of everything that is cheese, tried cheeses he’d never heard of. Decent wine selection — even the house wine is tasty. Can’t wait to go back.

This is my type of place. I felt so fancy **Queue IGGY song as entrance music** The waitresses were very down to earth and knew a lot about wine and helped you figure out what to get. For food we got the meat and cheese platter. My one complaint is there should be room on this platter to put all of hte extra bread that it comes with. I gave up my plate so we could place the bread on there and actualyl get to teh meat and cheese. I know this is how it is served but… you are making it hard for me to keep my well mannered fancy façade here. :D Definitely will be returning.

Great gastropub, great hours and great cocktails. We had a pork belly appetizer that was outstanding! The braised beef was so tender and tasty and the portions of everything are PERFECT! The home made salted caramel ice cream on home made chocolate pecan pie was unnecessary but soooooo necessary!!! Will be back!

So it was my birthday. My lovely fiancé looked on Unilocal and saw that this place supposed to be good. I say yeah sure whatever lets go. We arrive the place has great ambiance, wino theme with some rustic touches. I think great this is neat. We order our drinks and our bruschetta. The bruschetta was great Before hand we ordered our meals, the fiancé got the bacon wrapped quail. I got the stuffed pork chop. Thinking this place has such great reviews this should be good. As I cut into my meal it looks okay from the outside, it’s stuffed so no worries. I further investigated my meat and it was PINK. Which makes me automatically lose my appetite. My fiancé was concerned with how small the bird was for the price. We tell our waitress, Jennifer who was great. She comes back asking if I want a new one or a refire on the pork. I just respond I was done and that was it. The fiancé states for 2 oz of quail wrapped in 2 pieces of bacon and a few fork fulls of greens it wasn’t worth the 19 dollars. Overall I am not thrilled with what I ate. Especially with the protocol on how to cook meat. I will be kind and give 2 stars for Jennifer she was dope. If I end up puking tonight or get a tape worm, this will be a one star vote.

I have been wanting to go here for a few weeks now, so I dragged my mom to try Nosh Arizona out with me. By the end of the meal, we were both extremely happy we ended up coming here instead of our other options. To start with when you enter through the doors of the strip-mall restaurant, it feels like you have just entered into another world. There’s a classy bar, plush seating, and candles lighting every table. They even hired a classical guitarist to provide wonderful background music, further deepening the dining experience. We were guided to a cozy table, where we were given a concise menu of food along with a populous menu of available wines. I was impressed by how substantial their wine list was for such a intimate restaurant. We ended up getting a variety of bruschetta for dinner — the goat cheese with caramelized onions and prosciutto brittle was our favorite — and both had a glass or two of wine(I enjoyed their Pino Nero while my mom swished down a glass of their Sentall Chardonnay). The wait staff was friendly and unobtrusive, offering us time to enjoy our meal and each others’ company. Towards the end of the meal, even the owner of the restaurant approached us and informed us about Monday wine tastings that they were wanting to start. Nosh Arizona provided a wonderful evening and I intend to make a second appearance to try out their entrees and, of course, their specialty wines. Who knows, I might even make it to the wine tastings if I’m feeling a bit adventurous!

I saw that the reviews of Nosh was either really promising, or really negative. I decided to see for myself, and to my surprise I understood why this separation in partisanship is. My attempt to walk in unbiased was fairly successful. I felt that the ambiance was nice and cozy. The menu was limited and not as innovative as I had expected. beer and wine selection seems fair, and I did have my sample of some interesting brews over my party’s visit. The happy hour\ Do not waste your time hasting to fit the window, because if you do you may partake in their happy hour deals. These are a crock! I had three: The fancy rice ball — wasn’t good(others in party did like it). Deep fried artichoke — exactly what it sounds like, and pointless. Shrimp cocktail — waste of dishes. The food\ We had several orders of different samples of the bruschetta. Not special, not bad. The Charcuterie Cheese Board. Not impressive. The Nosh. I expected the namesake of the establishment to be good, edgy and/or esperimental. I was wrong. Dessert. Seriously and remarkably unimpressive.(Nutella on toast is breakfast in Germany) Sentence\ I had a great time here. The service from the door on is fine. The food was overall a disappointment, but the beer selection is fair. The ambiance is nice and I like how it is decorated and everything. People that come here for an escape, might get what they came for and thus give this place a high rating. I don’t blame them, because that’s how I feel. But if you come and believe that an establishment that call themselves Gastropub and let the limelight shine down on Chef Stacey — I become far from impressed. I want to like Nosh. I want to like it a lot. If it was more pub and less Castro, I would have just written it off as that. Now I cannot, due to the fact that the proportions are the very opposite. Chef Stacey I want to be impressed, but I was let down. If there is one think I can be a dilettante connoisseur on, its pub food. I will come back, but only to Nosh the Pub.

Is it enough to say that $ 7.95 for two average chocolate strawberries is absolutely ridiculous? They were supposed to be infused with port, but we didn’t taste any. Is that kind of rip off enough to deter you from coming here? Well I wouldn’t be a good Unilocaler if I left it at that. Nosh is in the same complex where my husband works so I thought it would be a good spot for us to meet up for dinner. He got off early one night so we made it to happy hour. This is where my disappointment began. Happy hour means $ 1 off glasses of wine, house cocktails, pizzettes, and bruschetta. Let’s stop with this $ 1 off nonsense(this isn’t exclusive to Nosh). If I’m going to happy hour, I’m looking for a good deal. Also, if you’re a wine bar, you have to compete with Postino. They set the standard. I’ve seen other places do the $ 5 glasses of wine, and Nosh should adopt this too if they want to be successful. Instead, I had a $ 8 albarino and a $ 13 red blend. Delicious, yes, but not a good value. Perhaps this is why they were pretty empty on a Friday night. We started with the olive, burratta and mushroom bruschettas. The olive was good, the mushroom one was cold so I didn’t like it, and my husband thought the burratta was tasty, but it fell apart and was hard to eat. The pizzettes were also ok. I loved the figs on mine, but the crust was less impressive. Then the whole debacle with the strawberries happened. Ugh, time to move on.
