Palm Beach Tan

This place is horrible! Up sell is the name of the game and then they won’t let you use your minutes claiming you have to build up to the full time. I am cancelling my
Membership and joining a place that won’t try to sell me over priced lotions and expensive plans they won’t let me use!!! Stay away!

99% thumbs up! This location is very well lit, very clean, and easy to find with plenty of parking. I signed up for the bronze package and bought lotion with Madison… who is absolutely great! She knows her stuff and has fantastic customer service skills!
My only wish is that the bronze bed has an adjustable fan. It’s either on, which is too much for me, or off, which when using a tingle lotion gets hot. (I could also be using it wrong but was to lazy to get dressed and ask :)) I will find out and edit if needed

I’ve been going to tanning salons since I was in high school and this location of Palm Beach Tan is really impressive.
The high tech beds and great tanning packages available here are amazing.
Beds
There are level 2, 3, 4 beds and stand ups. All have new bulbs and super high tech options of fans, misting, and radio.
There are plenty regular beds too. (see pics)
Spray
There are 2 spray tanning options too. They are super high tech with color bronzing, clear, and moisturizer options. It’s pretty cool that there is also a drying feature so you don’t leave wet with tanner on your clothes.
Lotions
They carry all sorts of lotion options. I got the Ruby with tingle, the Mystic pH balance for spray, and the Diamond for face and extender. (see pics)
Packages/​Service
Right now Palm Beach Tan is featuring unlimited $ 99/​month any level 4 (or below) with spray tan & $ 20 gift that covers the $ 20 sign up fee. No contracts. Lotions are 25% off.
I was helped by Ryann who knew EVERYTHING about the beds, lotions and packages and was super sweet.

The staff is friendly and the space is clean. Monthly rates are cheap for the lowest level beds, which is all I use anyway. They give lil perks the longer you’re there. Got a free spray tan for signing up, and every month since I get some sort of special offer. I think that’s a nice way to reward loyal customers. I’m just looking for a cheap place to get some color, not trying to go crazy and bake myself to death, so this place offers exactly what I need. I know they offer a whole lot more, so I would definitely recommend palm beach tan!

As being a prior member with Darque Tan for 7 years, I am appalled with the new set up and the business practice.
First off, prior to them being Palm Beach Tan, if you put money on your account, which is different than a full fledge membership, (now they call this tan dollars) you could pro rate each bed meaning if you wanted to go for only 6 minutes they would adjust the cost of each tan for the amount of time you request. As of the new take over if you decide to use a level 1 bed be prepared to pay full cost whether you tan for 6 minuets or 20 minutes.
Secondly, I had some money in my account from when it was Darque Tan. I started using some of the money before I went out of town in November 2014. After settling back and returning for tan, with money that should be still in my account after the first of the year 2015, I was told that I had absolutely no «tan dollars». When I asked where the remainder of my money was the employee told me well it disappears after the 1^st of the year. She also proceeded to tell me how I should of been told that, which it was never mentioned to me. The manager who called and left a message was not sympathetic and said there was nothing she could do, that’s just the way we work things!!! I won’t be bringing my business to this company ever again!

I was a member when it was Darque Tan. There are a couple of the same employees. All are very nice, welcoming and knowledgeable of tanning. The pricing when up a bit when ownership changed but everything is still a positive experience.

First I must say that I was a previous member of Darque Tan. Palm Beach took Darque Tan over a few months ago and made some significant improvements. I would give this place 3 stars based on the fact that they have some super high end beds. A level three bed will mist you with water if you’re feeling too hot. Very cool feature, they also provide you with eye ware vs. almost always having to purchase or buy your own.
Okay so for the downside — A Single Tan in that awesome level three can run you $ 25 for one single session. They have package deals but are a bit pricey.
Overall decent experience.
