Patio Star

My husband and I were incredibly impressed with the service and furniture we received from Patio Star. We were so pleased we went back a 2^nd time a couple months later and purchased more furniture. The customer service when we walked in was impeccable. They remembered who we were from months before and exactly what we had purchased. They were able to give great suggestions on what furniture would last the longest in the Arizona sun, helped with design and recovered old cushions we had from a previous patio table to match the new design. The delivery of the furniture was just as seamless. The gentleman was very nice, helpful and assembled everything just that way I wanted it. I was incredibly impressed with my entire experience and have already and will continue to refer anyone I know there for patio furniture. Thank you Carol and team for exceeding our expectations!

My review was much more positive than several others from 2014.
I was looking for a company who could re-​sling 4 patio chairs. I found it @ Patio Star. My initial contact was with Kristen Chan who told me the cost on the phone and the delivery time. (I had done some comparison shopping so I felt her pricing was more than fair and better than the others). We talked about fabric choices and I told her I needed to see some samples. She texted me pictures and from there, I made a decision. I brought in my chairs, verified my fabric and within less than 2 weeks, I picked up my chairs. They were ready earlier than the promised delivery date! The quality is excellent. .. but just as important, so was the communication I had with Kristen.

I was very skeptical of buying anything from Patio Star due to all of the negative reviews but was 100% satisfied with everything from the communication of when to expect the delivery and the actual delivery of our patio furniture. We were in a rush to get a mid-​priced conversation patio set delivered due to some out-​of-​town visitors arriving the following Saturday. We visited Patio Star on a Saturday afternoon and were initially thinking it was a very small store but it had something for us at a reasonable price. The salesman was quick to come over and ask us what we were looking for and showed us to what he said was one of the more popular conversation sets. It met our needs. We then asked if it could be delivered by Friday and the owner looked up the availability and said it could be delivered on Thursday. I was still skeptical but felt this was our only option to get something before our guests’ arrival. Thursday came and I received a call from Patio Star’s owner in the morning saying the furniture would be delivered around 4pm. I received a call a little later saying other deliveries took a little longer and I had the choice of having my patio set delivered at 5:30pm or the next day. I opted to have it delivered at 5:30pm. The delivery arrived and the delivery person carefully took the protective covering off and brought all of the pieces to the backyard. He offered to set it up by placing all of the cushions on each piece but I declined as it was getting dark and I knew he had a long day. We are very happy with our conversation patio arrangement. I cannot say enough about the communication from the owner as well as the service I received from Patio Star. One other thing — we were able to choose any 4 pillows in the store. I wanted two square and two oblong in a certain style but they only had 1 of the oblong pillows. They told me to take a square pillow in its place and would deliver the oblong one with the set. I was pleasantly surprised when the oblong pillow arrived with the patio furniture and traded my extra square pillow for the one I wanted!!! PS – We purchased the Basso 5pc Collection with Linen Sesame Sunbrella Fabric Cushions and added an ottoman as well.

Don’t believe their ads. They claim to be having an end of summer sale but when I asked which pieces were on the 30% to 60% off sale I was told that they are on sale all year round at 30 to 60% off. Classic bait and switch tactics. Highly discourage anyone from going here if you are looking for the deals they claim to be giving in their ads.

I recently had some patio furniture repaired at this company and I was taken aback by the poor customer service and rudeness I encountered. There was not one hello, please or thank you uttered to me and I was the only customer in the store. The only reason they are receiving a second star from me is because the quality of work was descent and they did what they said they were going to do in the amount of time they said it would happen. Unfortunately, I will look elsewhere the next time I’m in the market for patio furniture.

I wouldn’t recommend this business to anyone. They assured us that the cushions we ordered would match the sample we gave them. When we went to pick up the cushions, they were wrong. They told us someone would call about them after the weekend. No call. I called them and they said the salesman was off and he would call upon his return. Again no call. When I called again, I had to leave a message and still no response. 1 month went by and they called to say cushions were ready. When we went to pick them up, they were wrong again. the cushions we had were contoured on the ends and what they made was square and didn’t fit properly. they had added pipeing which we specifically stated we didn’t want, but the cushions were the same squares that they tried to pass off the first time. then they proceeded to tell us that they couldn’t make contoured cushions because they only had square pieces of foam. I would’ve taken my business elsewhere from the start had they been honest about their limitations. The man we dealt with was not willing to make the cushions we ordered, only to offer a discount for the ones that were wrong. I trusted that they were not leading me on about the quality of their work. So now, 2 months later, we don’t have the one good cushion that we gave them to use as a sample or the cushions we ordered. I will never patronize this business again and I will tell everyone I know to avoid them as well. If the man who seems to run the place is an example of the type of associates Patio Star employs then I would say, don’t patronize any of their stores!

Saw their ad in local paper and decided to stop by. They have some nice patio furniture, but reviews suggest they deliver their floor models which I noticed had paint touch ups etc. Overall their prices seemed high but I must admit they had one model I did like, but hesitant in buying from them based on reviews.

Just had our patio cushions redone. The service we received was courteous and prompt. They were able to quickly process our order and the cushions were ready in a week. We are happy with the. workmanship. I would recommend them to friends

I recently had my patio chairs re-​done (new slings/​fabric) by them. We ran into a few problems in the beginning. I can now say that they have been very helpful with fixing everything. We are satisfied with the hard work they put in. We would use them again.
