Shrimp tacos were the best I have ever had and the beer was fabulous! We have always enjoyed dining here.

I love this place! I’ve been several times. I really like their seasonal berry cider. The last time I went, I had the shrimp and grits. It was to die for!!! I don’t know if I will ever order anything else. Everything I have ever ordered has been good, fish and chips, Ricky Ricardo, Texican and more. Good beer and good food.

Their beers are great and I don’t usually drink beer. Their selection is great because my boyfriend loves good a IPA and I like light fresh beer but we are both always satisfied. The food is always good. I’ve probably eaten here around 20 times and never been disappointed. The Texan is very very good. It’s a pulled pork quesadilla and sounds different but is really tasty. Their burgers are great and atmosphere is fun.

We just arrived at the Golf resort nearby and had read the wonderful Unilocal reviews about SanTan Brewing company and headed here for lunch. We were greeted promptly by a friendly employee. They have a varied menu all the way from Mexican food to salad or pizza. We ordered one Green Chili Burger and one Pork Enchiladas plate. The Green Chili Burger was delicious and it was served at my request with a side salad. It was definitely something I would order again. The Enchiladas looked so good and it was nice to be able to have Mexican food at a Brewery. Lots of unique brews and great service. We will definitely eat here again. I see why the reviews are so good.

According to my husband, they serve the best sliders in the valley, with hand formed thick juicy patties. The Aioli had just the right amount of flavor and the bun was warm and tasty. This will be his new go to slider place! My side salad and iced tea were both fresh and tasty. The French dip was only okay to me. The Au jus is spicy but not salty and the meat lacked flavor. That being said, my husband added salt to it and gobbled it up. The pretzel appetizer was good but the cheese dip tasted like it came out of a jar. The ground mustard dip was definitely the better of the two. I would personally rate them at a 3 but my husband loved his and gave an overall strong 4⁄5 but 5 for the sliders.

Amazing service, we had a couple small issues that they accommodated with pleasure. Good was spectacular. Had the Texican. Great food for my party of 7. Alethea server is and was wonderful. If someone asks for a recommendation this week be the first place I recommend.

Solid. We had a very nice lunch here with friends. Nice, casual vibe and good service. Good quality and portion sizes. Beer did not impress us as we are Hoppy West Cost IPA fans but you might love them. Seriously a nice local brewery with large dining area and lots of menu options. Shrimp and grits and fish tacos were our highlights.

I picked this place as a Sunday motorcycle ride destination based on a friend’s description of a yummy sounding macaroni and cheese burger. It being Mothers day never crossed my mind. I’m going to cheat a little and copy my FB post from when I got home. «My visit to San Tan brewery was mostly negative. There is motorcycle parking right by the door. I passed by a 60 minute wait because I was a party of one. Then I found out the only food available until 3PM was a $ 25 buffet. OK, Ill try it after taking over an hour to get there. These people had no clue how to run a buffet. There was food burned to the bottom of several chafing dishes and the guy at the carving station had no clue how to get slices or even chunks of meat from a spiral sliced ham. 12 food items and 4 dessert items. Not worth anything near $ 25. This was their second run at this, first was Easter. The place was packed though.» I will go out of my way to never be there for a special day again. That aside, my food was OK, my waitress was a sweetheart and my beer was really good. I have several friends who speak highly of the place so my intention is to go back in the fall and try the Marzen and the burger I couldn’t get.

Hit this spot up after hearing so many good things about it and it didn’t disappoint. We stopped by on the way to a event late on sunday night around 730. We got right in no wait and the waiter was super fast and courteous. We ordered a beer and some rib tip tacos. Honestly I was expecting some crappy unflavored meat in a tortilla but what I got was delicious. The flavor of the meat and the flavor of the toppings mixed well. My only complaint was 12 bucks for 2 tacos is pretty damn steep. Other then this it was a nice place to get good food for a quick bite.

Be sure to look at the menu. This isn’t your normal«brewery food», they have a great variety of food. From burgers to fried chicken to pizza. OK, after I read that, it SOUNDS like normal«brewery food» but I promise it isn’t. They also have a great beer selection, friendly staff and large area. Last time I was in I ordered a burger that was very large and prepared perfectly. To drink I had the Devil’s Ale. A really good pale ale.

Santan Brewery is walking distance from our home which is very practical and awesome. We have been there quite a few times now, both inside and on the patio. One of the things that I love the most about this place is the fact that you can bring your puppy on the patio. Which we did for the first time last week, as soon as you seat at the table the waitress brings a water bowl and some treats in a bag for your puppy. I really appreciated that! Other than the whole bring your puppy with you, the beers(especially Mr. Pineapple) are very good! My sister-in-law told me that their cocktails are tasty as well. Our favorite appetizer is the French fries with the pork, for $ 8 you get a very nice portion of fries which are quite tasty! This place is always crowded, the ambiance is very fun!

Ordered the enchiladas, looks like they used OLD stale rolled tacos, wrapped them in a new tortilla, used pork jerky for the filling and called it a dish… is that safe? Don’t recommend this place at all, at least for food, have a beer instead!

This was a return visit to San Tan Brewing Company. We had visited a little over a year ago with a group and other than the noise we had no complaints. It was quite different this time. We stopped during lunch hour and the place was packed. However, there was no wait and we were seated almost immediately outside. We were happy to grab outside seating when the noise was so loud inside. Our drink order was taken timely but for us to order our lunch seemed to take forever. There was quite a wait until the waiter returned to our table for the ordert. Between the two of us we ordered the brisket sandwich and the naked burger with mustard. Again, there was quite a wait but we aren’t complaining about that since it was almost 1:00. The crowd was starting to thin out but it was still busy. Mustard wasn’t served with the burger. We had to get up and get it from the server’s table. We also had empty glasses but no offer to refill. Thus, another trip to the server’s table so we could refresh our own water and tea glasses. When finished waiter took our plates but never returned with our check. Again, it was quite a wait to track him down and let him know we needed our check. Another long wait before we received that. Obviously, service was pretty poor. The food? Well, it was really good. The food was good but the service pretty poor.

If you are in the area and hungry or just want a new and different brew, you have to stop! We sat outside on a beautiful afternoon. Cheryl was just amazing. She described the different brews as if she had personally crafted each one, letting us know her recommendations based on what food we ordered. She added a couple special requests to our sample flight. Who knew that grapefruit juice added to an IPA could taste so amazing? We stopped in for a late lunch around 2:30. There weren’t many folks in at that hour but the staff rocked it! The kitchen staff actually knew what“medium rare” meant for a burger. The fish and chips my bride ordered didn’t go over(a bit soggy) but in a flash, her second choice of pulled pork with spicy bbq and sour cream and pickles arrived. Sublime! Far from standard bar food, this place has some serious flavors going on and some top notch beers to wash it down. A must stop if you have the time. You won’t be disappointed!

I’ve come here pretty often since we discovered it a few years ago. This is as good as it gets. Why? The beer is danged good and so is the food. SanTan Brewery is a happening place and one of my favorite in the Valley. They can accommodate both large and small parties. The first beer I tried was the HefeWeizen. On man, I thought I had died and gone to beer heaven. I’d pretty much been a Corona girl and didn’t venture any further until I went to SanTan. It goes down so smooth. Then, one night I was at another establishment and they had SanTan on tap and Mr. Pineapple was recommended by the server. Holy cow! I feel in love instantly and now Mr. Pineapple and I «date» on a regular basis. The brewer was imaginative and creative when he dreamt up this guy. He has just a hint of pineapple and I have to say, I crave him — I need him! When I can’t make it to the restaurant, I get him in the can and he’s equally delish. On to the food — My fave is the Margherita pizza. I can eat the whole thing in one sitting and it’s not a itty bitty pizza. It’s bigger than my head! Basil, olive oil and tomatoes come together on fresh dough which is perfect. We’ve enjoyed the hummus and Southwest fried chicken both are outstanding. My husband recently ordered the smoked meat which is a sampler of sorts with brisket, sausage, and pulled pork and better than any Texas BBQ(sorry Texans!). Could not stop picking off my husband’s plate. Next time will likely order my own. The place gets pretty crowded and can be loud. I don’t mind, I feel like the patrons are my people! We like to go late afternoon for dinner and brews. On special days, like Christmas Eve, we’ve made reservations through Open Table. You’ll enjoy your visit and be a regular soon too.

I’ve always enjoyed me some SanTan beer(Mr. Pineapple especially). I finally got around to trying their food on St. Patrick’s Day! They had some St. Paddy’s Day specials going on which included Spring Lamb Stew, Corned Beef + Cabbage, SanTan Bangers + Mash(served all-year long, even though it’s off the menu), Loaded Baked Potato Soup, and a Seasonal Brownie that sounds very coconutty. Here are my thoughts: Spring Lamb Stew($ 8.50): «Tender braised lamb with parsnips, onions in a hearty Gordo Stout broth, served in a sourdough bowl.» This was what the waitress said was her favorite. The braised lamb was indeed tender and it was a hearty meal. It was everything I expected and the crusty sourdough helped mop up all the delicious broth. SanTan Bangers + Mash($ 14.25): «Two jalapeño cheddar sausages set over poblano mashed potatoes smother with green chili gravy. Served with Mexican street corn.» This. This was amazing. The jalapeño cheddar sausages had a nice heat and great flavor while the poblano mash with the green chili gravy was amazing. The street corn wasn’t anything like the real stuff and was just canned corn. I would of rather had more mashed potatoes. Yum! All in all, it was a great St. Paddy’s Day lunch at SanTan. It was busy and the hostesses could have been friendlier but I loved our waitress. I need to come back for more Bangers + Mash and some pineapple beer!

Stopped in for drinks & appetizers! Last time we were in(prior review) hadn’t tried the food. Our server was Brittany, she was personable & her service was good! Started with the hot buffalo style wings which unfortunately we ended up sending back! With the first bite in, it had the unusual smack of Thyme seasoning or ground Rosemary(that taste like dirt). Hard to figure if it’s a coating on the wings or in the sauce? It wasn’t a pleasant appeal to our palate. We brought this to the attention of our server. She suggested to try another flavor: So, we opted to go with the Pineapple Habanero wings. Again, «whatever» they are using or adding as herb to ALL these wings, we just completely didn’t care for it! My husband managed to get through a few of those wings(do to it being a hot/sweet blend) but, we could still taste that seasoning. I just couldn’t do it! I ended up ordering the Brewhouse Nacho’s they were so overloaded with salt– that I couldn’t get through them! We didn’t want to send those back too; so just excepted the fact that they were not going to be eaten. Disappointing! The«on staff manager» came to visit our table & inquired about our dissatisfied feeling in the wings. He couldn’t do or say much as far as or opinion on the experience. We appreciated him making the effort. From what was expressed by other staff members: is that not many customers are fond of these wings, we weren’t alone in our dislike for them. There have been other complaints & plates sent back. The head chef has created this recipe, set to his standards & hasn’t been«open» to changing it. That’s really unfortunate. I think if they omit that one particular spice these wings would be so much better! I’m bummed to say it was an off night in our menu choices. But, the beers are great, service great, atmosphere pleasant; we will be back to explore more on the menu(minus the wings) & enjoy the brews!

I have to come back and give these guys some love for their breakfast. I think they’ve been serving breakfast for at least a couple of years now, and lately I’ve made it a priority to get over there and try them out. On two visits we have had 4 different items: the 2 egg breakfast, the bacon and avocado omelet, the green eggs & ham benedict, and the big play breakfast. Everything for the most part has been excellent, and what’s even better, they have a Unilocal check in offer of 20% off a breakfast entrée. Great deal. Some things that are exceptional are the beer bread, so soft and totally addictive. I could eat that stuff until I have to go lie down in the corner and take a nap. The bacon. THEBACON! Delicious! The creativity of the green eggs & ham benedict. They make spinach hollandaise and use pork belly. It’s got a little heat and is completely delicious. You have to try it to believe it. And then those multigrain pancakes with pecan butter. Absolutely fantastic. My husband said those are the best pancakes he’s ever had. I’m still thinking about them. The hash browns have always been good and crisp and the coffee is good and strong. And don’t even get me started on those beer cocktails. If I get started on those, it will be one of those days where I end up at the casino, acting like Clark Griswold. I can’t say enough good things about breakfast at the brewery. Can’t wait to go back.

Came here again last night and had much better service! We had to wait a good 30 minutes to be seated but on a Friday night that’s not bad. I was finally able to try a full plate of the San Antonio Mac & Cheese and LOVED it! Nothing like briskets to go with your perfectly-seasoned mac & cheese! I also recommend getting the beer flight — 7 beers for $ 8! Super good deal! Best part of the night: when my buddy after eating an entire plate of wings ordered two more plates of them for himself. If you could see the look on our server’s face! Looks like this place is gonna be our go-to hangout spot on a Friday night.

I’ve been meaning to write a review for SanTan for so long, just got so busy with school oops!!! I held a birthday dinner here in August on a Saturday night and the staff pulled it off wonderfully!!! First of all, SanTan is very very busy! I saw this in previous reviews so I showed up an hour before everyone to secure a spot on their waiting list(since they refused to take reservation for rush time on weekends). I was told the wait for going to be 2 – 3 hours… I was pretty frustrated. But people was already on their way and so I just decided to tough it out WEGOTSEATEDINANHOUR! Woo hoo! SanTan saved my birthday dinner and accommodated a group of about 20 hungry students! We sat at a large long table at the very end of the restaurant and I couldn’t have asked for a better location to seat all my friends together!!! ATMOSPHERE: +Hip, modern, clean. Very lively almost to the point of noise pollution hahaha. The moment I walked in, I understood the rave on Unilocal and why this place has such a long wait on weekends. FOOD: +the beers were so so great! I had the cider and my boyfriend got something else on tap. A couple friends got the beer sampler and they loved it. –American mule was oooo-kay, I wouldn’t get it again +chicken pot pie: decent size, tasted pretty decent 3.5÷5 +southwest fried chicken: i was sooooo excited to try this, it looked A-MA-ZING in pictures; but I thought it was pretty rich/salty in person. I did enjoy the left-overs the next day since the portion was HUGE –we only had one waitress for our large party, she was soooo busy I felt really bad… I wish next time they can send out more than one waitress for such large parties? Seriously SanTan, thanks for accommodating my large birthday party!!! My friends had a great time and enjoyed the food so much, many of them came back with their friends and families!
