Went to Shulas to celebrate a friends birthday. What a nightmare it turned out to be! Our bill totaled $ 560.00 and we gave our waiter $ 314.00 cash to put towards the bill and two credit cards. One was charged $ 80.00 and the other should’ve been charged $ 166.00. That did not happen! One card was charged $ 480.00! The waiter pocketed our cash and probably thought we wouldn’t notice. It was a hassle to get any help from the manager. She could care less. The director got involved and he was a joke too. Instead of trying to make the situation right he did not care as well. When we asked for our gratuity to be returned to us it took forever. We understand mistakes do happen, but they did not try to make it right at all! Then we find out today the other credit card was charged $ 480.00 too! What a bunch of bull! So now the $ 560.00 dinner cost over$ 1300.00! Shame on you Shulas! Shula’s should return all our money for the inconvenience this has caused. No customer service at this restaurant at all. Beware!

Went to Shula’s Saturday to celebrate a friends birthday with seven close friends. I ordered the halibut and it was so tough at $ 45. Also our total bill was for $ 568 we gave the waiter $ 314 in cash and two card to put $ 88 on one and the balance on the other. Well the waiter put $ 88 on one and put $ 480 on the other, not sure what he thought the $ 314 in cash was for, quite possibly he thought another tip! Well we told them about it and it wasn’t until the second manager came to our table and gave us out $ 90 tip back. Just today my other friend was charged another $ 480, so our dinner turned out to be $ 1,700 meal. VERYDISAPPOINTED!

Where do I begin. First off, don’t go there. I know I never will. Went for a birthday dinner. Food was okay, but here is where things got interesting. Bill came. Had a party of 7 we split the check with cash and two cards. The waiter pocked the cash and charged one card for the right amount and the other for the remainder. We had to solicit the manager, director, to sort things out and never saw the waiter again. So, after we thought that it was resolved the two people who had cards and only signed for a specific amount, where charged THEENTIRE bill plus the bills we signed. Which only means they ran cards twice. Fraud! So we paid $ 1355.65 for a dinner that was only $ 560.65! Thank God we caught it and were able to dispute. All I am saying is be aware! These people are CROOKS! Completely unethical business practices!

A big disappointment. We had a great meal 2 years ago, but this experience was below par, especially for the price. Service was good, but had the following problems: seated 10 minutes past our reservation time, long black hair in my wife’s water, crab legs came out frozen, the desert was presented incorrectly, and my kids appetizer was wrong. Not a good experience for a $ 360 dinner.

Service is great at Shula’s! Steaks are delicious! Take the mashed potatoes over the au gratin. Caesar salad very good. Also, the apple cobbler was a treat! Will be sure to dine here again!

These poor souls messed up my Christmas dinner by overbooking 80 seats. Staff was taxed and ended up with poor service and overcooked food. Crab legs were watered down and smelled horrible. Ordered the cowboy steak ended up with an overcooked porterhouse. The augrautin potatoes just plain sucked. Drinks took over 20 minutes to get. When the check is over 300 bucks it’s important they get it right. Very disappointed. Wake up Shulas!

My husband and I spent our 28 th anniversary here. To start with the overall experience was wonderful. The wait staff was extremely attentive friendly and informative. As far as the food was concerned the experience was started when we were served our bread basket filled with the most delicious sour dough bread we have ever tasted! My wife ordered pan seared scallops with an add on of crab legs! And I ordered the 12 oz bone in filet. Both entrees were cooked exactly to order. Very flavorful and prepared with just the right amount of seasonings. For our side dishes we ordered the crab Mac and cheese and garlic mashed potatoes. Both side were absolutely delicious and clearly enough to be shared by two. If you go to Shulas you’ve got to order the crab Mac and cheese!!! Sooooo good! Dessert wa also awesome. Trio crime brûlée was delicious. We will be back very soon!!!

The food here is the star of the show. The quality of beef is fantastic. The lobsters were meaty, well flavored, and perfectly prepared. The service is where they lost a couple of stars. Our server was very knowledgeable and professional, but seemed irritated that we showed up at 10:20pm(they closed at 11) despite having called ahead to make sure this wouldn’t be an issue. The first patron to order in our group ordered the porterhouse, medium with a baked potato and a lobster tail. The second patron said, «I’ll have that exact same thing, except medium rare on that steak.» I was third in the group, and asked for the same as well, except with a rare steak. The first two orders were delivered with a baked potato, and mine was absent. The waiter claimed that he didn’t hear me ask for a baked potato until I reminded him that both of us ordered the same as the first patron. He remembered, and apologized, but informed me that they didn’t have any more potatoes. Oh well. They looked good, anyways. ;-)

Love the lobster tails and the sea bass. So delicious. That sourdough bread begets me every time too! I’ve been happy with my wine choices from the wine menu each time. Usually service is really good and the waiters are nice and friendly. It takes a long time for food to come out though probably because it’s being made fresh. I still come all the time though.

If you like steak this is the place to go! I cringed when my partner asked for barbecue sauce to dip his filet in because the cuts are superior to any steakhouse I’ve ever been and cooked to perfection. We also tried the scallops and they were cooked as well as the steak. The asparagus was also good. Their shrimp cocktail was also super good. Tip: save room for dessert! They have an awesome selection.

My mister and I were on a staycation and had actually thought about going to a different restaurant off property. … We are so happy we didn’t! From start to finish Shula’s is a class act… So much so we are going back!!! Two nights in a row!!!

Went here with my family for a night out. The staff was friendly and attentive. We opted out of the meat presentation, which I heard was pretty cool. We had the scallops appetizer, the lamb porterhouse, the 24oz porterhouse, and the catch of the day with was Norwegian salmon and Chili-lain Bass. The scallops(2) were a little overcooked and too salty, but the porterhouses were cooked perfectly and were nice and tender, so was the fish. The portions were small and tasty, but the flavors were basic and nothing too creative. For dessert we had the crème brûlée trio and the soufflé, and they brought us the chocolate cake because the soufflé fell the first time. The dessert again were ok, but the chocolate cake was dense and bitter. It’s a good place to go once in a while, especially if you have food credit from the casino.

I tried the Twin Lobster Tails, Surf and Turf, and 24oz Porter House as a main course. I have to say that regardless of the high quality service, Shula still doesn’t have much of the potentials to win me. I like how they do a short presentation before serving and taking orders, and the whole dining experience makes me feel like an upper class diner. However, the lobster tails don’t have that much flavors, as well as the steak — even though it was nicely cooked. This is somewhat an upscale restaurant, I will revisit, but not on the regular time frame.

I have been to Shula’s in Miami and this isn’t really the same thing. The service was horrible. We didn’t get bread until after the oysters and we didn’t get the horseradish we requested twice. My girlfriends soda was not supposed to be diet. And, although other tables around us got the meat presentation, we did not? I was looking forward to a nice steak and it was disappointing. Dry, little flavor and warm at best. I was mocked for ordering the steak fries as a side and it turned out to be the best thing on the table. sadly it took ten minutes and multiple requests to get some ketchup. Unless you’re over 50, a fervent Nascar fan or want to play the $ 25 high roller tables, I would steer clear of Wild Horse Pass. Somehow it managed to bring the level of this steakhouse way down.

I like shulas but this one wasn’t like the others I’ve been to. It’s inside the wild horse casino so I think that discredits it a bit. Looks like the others but just doesn’t have the same classy feel. My waitress was more suited for the waffle house or dennys. Food here was good and we all enjoyed a nice meal with a few bottles of Joel Gott 815!

Went here for a client dinner and it was fabulous! I’m always a little skeptical when dining someplace where someone has their name on a restaurant outside of Vegas, but I was so pleasantly surprised! The waitstaff was a little slow for having two servers wait on each table. Surprisingly slow. I sat with my oyster plate in front of me long after I was finished. Same thing with my salad plate(both were obviously finished). I actually had to call the waitress over because it was beginning to get ridiculous. It still took a few more minutes to get it out from under me though. The bread they serve is a warm sourdough(or some variation thereof) and was so soft and delicious. The butter on it made me feel like it was all I needed to be completely happy as a meal. I ordered the Blue Point oysters and they were of course delicious. They didn’t offer any horseradish which I thought was strange, but I didn’t need it anyway. My customer ordered the seared ahi tuna and I didn’t like it nearly as much. It tasted a little dry, but he seemed to enjoy it. I also ordered the house salad and it was probably the best I’ve ever had. It had artichoke, tomatoes and cucumbers and tasted so fresh that I could have sworn they picked it out of the garden for me. I loved this. For dinner I ordered salmon and asked for it grilled. It came out perfectly cooked and flaky with a beautiful pink color. It was very good. As a side I ordered grilled asparagus which was a great accompaniment. My customer ordered the chilean sea bass. It was actually much better than I thought it would be, I just had a little bite, but I would definitely try it if I go back. For dessert we decided to share the very chocolatey soufflé. When it came out it had fallen and was undercooked so they brought us this huge slice of chocolate cake. The first bite I knew it was frozen. I asked and they confirmed that while it was made at the corporate office it was still frozen. This is my biggest pet peeve. Fine restaurants should NEVER serve frozen cake, it’s disgusting. I’m surprised more people don’t complain because it was just so… fake. We ignored it. One last thing, while we were there the comedian playing next door, Ron White, wanted to dine here. The waiter came over(our other one) and said that he would be sitting next to us and to please not disturb him. I thought it was pretty tasteless to think I’d interrupt my not-so-cheap meal in order to gawk at and fawn over some cut-rate comedian playing a casino. Not classy at all. The food here is incredible, I highly recommend it, just don’t expect phenomenal service to go with that.
