Starry Glow Medspa

This is the first time I’ve visited this location. They had a promotion for basically half off your first time with either the Signature Dermaplaning or Microdermabrasion Facial. The technician decided that the Dermaplaning Facial would be best for me. They basically use a scalpel to scrape off the layer of dead skin, apply some type of mud mask and then push in a serum into your skin with oxygen through a special machine. Everything went fine, the facility is very clean, and the technician was extremely friendly and knowledgeable.
There were 2 things that bothered me about this visit. Firstly, when I called to book the appointment, the woman who answered was very difficult to understand. I asked for a Tuesday appointment 3 times. We went though getting my name, phone number and other pertinent information. When the time came to hang up she said «Okay so we will see you Wednesday at 3:30». For the 4^th time I had to re-​confirm it Tuesday and she had to change the appointment. Secondly, on the phone I asked if the facial I selected included extractions to which she responded yes. When we were in the room, the technician said she would do extractions later on while she was using the scalpel on my face but then never followed through. In my mind, extractions are a large part of a facial so I was pretty bummed about that!
Of course these are trivial things and don’t reflect the business as a whole, but to me, if I ask questions and mention twice that I would like extractions done, I do expect it to happen. I would visit again.

First time doing microdermabrasion and loving it! Kelsey did such a great job doing the treatments on my face. I can’t wait to go back in 2 weeks. I have acne scaring and mild breakouts so I’m hoping this will work. Kelsey if you’re reading this I totally forgot to tip you! Argggg

Nanette is great, lots of specials, and the location is spotlessly clean.

This is one of the best places I have had facial treatments done. Nanette is very well on explaining and answering all my questions on procedures and products. I recommend anyone who is starting a facial procedure to check out Starry Glow Spa, Nanette and Chelsea are awesome. I look forward to my next treatment.

I just came home from my second visit at Starry Glow Medspa, and it was just as an amazing experience as the fist time! The first time I went, I got the oxygen facial and it made my skin glow for the next week, it was amazing and my makeup went on like a dream after that. I will definitely be getting this facial before any special event that I go to, like dances or weddings. And then today I went and got a chemical peel. I have had really bad acne and I have some scarring, and after the peel it was visibly better. My skin had actually calmed down a little! I am a little pink, but thats too be expected! Kelsey the aesthetician was super sweet, and her touch was light enough to be firm but not too rough. I would highly recommend this spa, and its right next to three of my favorite places to get food, so I have an excuse to spend a couple hours pampering myself and getting delicious food.
