The Village At Ocotillo

My mother in law was 92 and the wonderful staff took her in with open arms. It is the very best assisted living up to end of life. The food is good, activities good but the staff is superior to any. She died there able to be with all her treasures.

The same thing happened to us! The ONLY reason I gave them a star is because you can’t give them ZERO stars ~ which is what they deserve! They act really nice & friendly until they get your money in their hand! Then, they don’t even know who you are! My parents also were evicted after their 1^st month! We were told they were able to take care of mom’s alzheimer’s. We were told they had MANY, MANY activities for her to participate in. Then, when I asked the «activities director» exactly what things we could put mom in, she suggested sewing, knitting, crocheting, golfing, etc. I looked at her like she was CRAZY! My mom has ALZHEIMER’S DISEASE, YOU DAFFY B***CH! Even if she once did those things, she was not able to do them now!!! So, there was ABSOLUTELY NOTHING for mom to do there except sit in her room & stare at the wall. Oh, they let her out for meals. But, the other inmates living there were so rude to her! It was disgusting!
THIS PLACE IS ALL ABOUT BEING PRETTY! IF YOUR LOVED ONE HAS ANY SORT OF DISEASE OR AILMENT THAT REQUIRES «ASSISTED LIVING», DO NOT LET THEM MOVE IN HERE! THEY MAKE UP THE RULES AS THEY GO, AND AFTER THEY HAVE YOUR MONEY, THEY CAN THROW YOU OUT IN THE STREET FOR ANY REASON THEY WANT!
My next step is to file complaints with the BBB and report them to all agencies that are recommending them for assisted living facilities!
BEWARE! AND KEEP YOUR WALLET AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS!
