I went up too my storage unit at the Uhaul facility on 1÷9÷16 and when I opened my unit door I noticed that there was boxes pushed too the side … I noticed that three pieces of furniture was gone out of my unit and I notified the manager of that facility about the missing items… And the manager told me I had too file a claim with the Uhaul company … I couldn’t believe that the manager wouldn’t look into it making me feel suspicious… I will never use their facility ever again can’t trust their company… I called and they have never returned my calls

We had a 10 am appointment and when we got there, they said the guy would be in at 1130. I’ve been calling since 2pm(5 calls in last hour) and each time no one knows what is going on. Each time a different operator answers and says they aren’t at that location. How long should this take? It was just an appointment to get electrical on our trailer hitch. I didn’t think it would take from 940 am until 3 pm. Why get an appointment for 10 am if it is going to take them all day. It still isn’t done and they are open till 8pm so I’m thinking my whole day and night could be wasted waiting around.

Brought my mom SUV here to remove tow hitch. David was great! He even give us some info related to the hitch and estimate price that we may be able to sell it for and what other vehicle may fit. Thank you David!

**Since writing this review have I rented from this location SEVERAL more times. They are literally the best U-Haul outfit around. Aside from that one time when I had to call them direct to make my reservation, I’ve made all of my reservations via their website. Super easy. I’ve since moved away from the area, but as part of that process I used their U-Boxes to ship my stuff cross-country. That process was also really easy. I didn’t have my own pick-up truck so I rented theirs. Once I filled a U-Box I’d return it to their location and they’d do a swap out right there and the next U-Box would be hooked up to the truck and ready to go. They were even nice about the little things — like quickly replacing the moving blankets that I had to drive back for when I found they weren’t loaded into one of my U-Boxes, no questions asked, and checking the padlocks I purchased from them to make sure they all worked properly before I left the place. —– I recently rented a pick-up truck from this location, for a 4-hour period. I couldn’t get the online reservation system to work so I made my reservation over the phone. I called on a Sunday morning for an afternoon rental. The truck was available and I made my reservation. The woman on the other end was super sweet and set everything up quickly. When I got to U-Haul I waited in line for a while, because the customer in front of me didn’t speak English well so was having trouble renting. A second customer service rep noticed this and offered to help us at another register. He was a nice younger guy, who took me through the process quickly, confirmed my rentals, went over the insurance policy with me, and then met me outside to pick up the truck. Got in the truck and left. Easy peasy. The truck itself was nearly brand new with just over 1000 miles on it. Pretty smooth ride and we commented on how the seats were like cozy couch cushions. Returned the truck 4 hours later, while they were still open. As soon as I pulled up to the return I was greeted by the drop off customer service rep who was, like the others, unquestionably friendly. He asked me how the truck was, and if I had a chance to fill it up, which I did. He offered to send me my receipt over email, or he could obtain a printed copy if I wanted to wait a couple of minutes. I said email was fine. DONE. No issues. I rented from this same U-Haul location in 2011 but I can’t remember the experience too much, which I suppose is a good thing. I had rented one of the small box truck rentals. I remember it was clean and I kept it for about 24 hours.

Customer service rep who came to the vehicle made it seem like he had something better to do. Informed him that I called ahead to a UHaul down the road, asking if I could drop the truck off at this location instead. I was told this would not be a problem. The customer service rep told me that if I dropped the truck off they would be stealing from the other location. I told him that I verified the transaction with the other location and they were good to go. He appeared uninterested and told us we had to drop off the truck at the other location. We drove to the other location at 331 East Chandler Boulevard and they were pleasant and helpful. They verified that we could have indeed dropped the truck off at that location and they would do whatever is best for the customer.

Scammers! My guy and I rented a truck from here for a quick trip to Scottsdale and back. The girl at the counter was not very interested in customer service and did not seem to know much of anything about the company. She did not even know how to process the storage locker we wanted to empty and return the key to… The truck its self was very clean and ran fine. When we picked up the truck we were told to return it with ½ tank of gas or there would be a $ 30 fee plus $ 5 per gallon. So we knew we would be stopping to fill up on the way back. The gas gage was acting kinda funny during the trip but we didn’t think much of it. When it was time to return the truck the gas gage said we had ¾ of a tank remaining, so we just went straight back to the lot. The worker looks through the truck and everything seems fine. My guy decided to look at the paperwork before paying and it was marked that the truck only had ¼ of a tank. We were shocked and pointed out the mistake since the fees would have been so high. It was then we were told the gas gage was backwards… What?! The staff acted like it was no big deal and even tried to blame the truck manufacture. I have never seen a new vehicle with a backwards gas gage in my life. These scam artists had it flipped in order to trick people tired from moving all day into paying their ridiculous fees. I am so disgusted with this place!
