Channahon Lanes

We went for homeschool bowl which is very generous of the owners and their respect and homage to homeschoolers in the area.
However the lanes were malfunctioning a bit and they only had a few ramps for kids to use.
I cannot speak in food etc because we did not order.
It’s not state of the art but it serves it’s purpose which is to bowl.

Not quite sure where to start…
Two stars only because we had great family time bowling. Nothing to do with the facility.
I’ll summarize the issues:
1. The person that cleans the shoes, hands you your shoes, handles your cash and rings you up is also the person that walks back to get your beer, put your lime in, get your sodas and hand you your food. There has to be some health code against this?
2. The lanes kept malfunctioning. I went up to ask for help and this clearly irritated the woman working the counter.
3. When I went up again to have them fix the lane I said it’s tough to have the lane not work when you are paying by the hour… Ms. Nasty at the counter shrugged her shoulders. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE.
Positive was when the lane shut down because we were out of time we asked again and they let us finish the last frame.
Classic case of no competition here so they can be rude to customers… but if you want to bowl you have to go back there anyway.
