Hamilton Sofa and Leather Gallery

I found a beautiful sofa for only $ 900 dollars, it was very good quality and I got to choose from lots and lots of fabrics. It was fun and it looks great!

The staff was nice enough, but this store’s prices are a joke. We went for their «liquidation clearance» sale and the furniture we saw was still about $ 1,000 more than comparable pieces available online. We have been eying a sleeper sofa online that is about $ 700; this place had a very similar model … For $ 1800 ON SALE! Lol
How do they think they can keep this up while competing with online prices?!

I purchased a gray sofa from here and love it! I’ve been looking for a mid-​century style sofa for a long time and they were either over priced or poorly made. I have never bought a custom made sofa so it was weird for me to choose the fabric for the sofa, legs, and fabric for the pillows (sofa comes with two pillows) but it was a fun process. I went with neutral color for the sofa and bluish patterned design for the pillows.
The coffee table is also from Hamilton’s. It goes with the sofa since it’s also a mid-​century style. It is well made, nice wood, and pretty! It really wasn’t too expensive compared to places like west elm and it looks like a nice piece of furniture. Ikea was my back up but I think I made the right choice by paying a little more for a piece that’s more durable and lasting.
Delivery was efficient and the guys were very nice. Overall, I’m in love with my sofa (looks better in person) and table. it seems to go well together =] I’m very pleased with my purchases.

I have recently made a second purchase at another Hamiltons location (fairfax), but I just got around to writing the review. I dont usually write reviews, but two things made me want to write this review: 1. my great experience and 2. These ridiculous other reviews people have left.
Its pretty simple, their furniture is higher end sofas at a good price. Their sales floor has a great variety and they can even custom order items they do not have on the floor. My specific purchase was a beautiful italian leather sofa (literally shipped from italy), that I was able to customize and have shipped to me.
The best part, the SAME sofa was over double the price at bloomingdales. Literally the same manufacturer and model, was over $ 3,000 dollars.
Second sofa I purchased, much of the same. Got a great sofa with sleeper added in and I got an amazing price for a high quality piece.
So in short, dont be deterred by the negative reviews. Great selection, great price and great service. Ill be back for my next purchases.

We bought a sectional and sofa. The customer service in the store in the store was outstanding.
Delivery, on the other hand leaves much to be desired. One of the two men let one piece of the sectional drop out of the truck as a means of unloading it. Our walls in the house are all tore up (and I did not sign any waiver dismissing that damage). What’s worse is no attempt was made to get the sofa up the stairs to the living room in our townhouse, while several of our other pieces pieces (many just as large) reside up those stairs. WHAT WE WERE LEFT WITH ARE SEVERAL SIGNIFICANT GOUGES IN OUR WOODS FLOORS IN THE FOYER!
We had plans to buy coffee tables and a few other pieces from Hamilton’s — but will now shop elsewhere.

I attempted to return a product that I had purchased from this location for cleaning a sofa and it was a nightmare!!! The product was less effective then water, and after one attempt at using it I decided it clearly did not work. When I finally brought it back the woman on the floor was bossing me around telling me there was no way for a refund, even though it was only purchased based upon her recommendation. She kept insisting that it was my fault as the product works on their couches in the store. Talk about not standing behind your product, I felt like I had purchased it from a traveling medicine man. The hoops that made me jump through to attempt to get a refund after only five days was absurd. I find it hard to believe that a business that runs its customer service like this can stay in business. I hope soon someone gets the idea that keeping the customer happy is important, First step, talk to that horrible woman at the front about correct customer service because she is rude, unhelpful, aggressively incorrect and generally horrible to deal with.
Really all I wanted was for someone in that store to be nice and act like they cared about their customer. From where I stand, they clearly don’t :(

Lol everything in here cost an arm and a leg. Can get better pricing and better quality at a different furniture store. And no I don’t mean value city furniture.

I am currently in the market for bedroom furniture when I found online EXACTLY what I wanted. I called various stores but was lured into this location because their prices were phenomenal. I repeatedly asked, is this price for the entire set including nightstands?
The sales rep assured me the price was correct and even began to brag about how much cheaper they were from Belfort.
Needless to say, when I walked in ready to pay, the sales rep realized that she didn’t charge me for the headboard. She was not willing to match the price she originally quoted me nor offer a reasonable discount. In addition, she refused to give me my price quote from the competitor that I showed her.
I practically had to snatch my paper from her! I was supposed to write the manager but I guess Unilocal will suffice. In the end, I decided to give another location my money.

I saw a labor day ad in the post for this place so I stopped by. The whole place is full of sofas of all prices and styles. There was a European sales woman who seemed to have the laughing bug because she was so giggly but she was loads of fun and very helpful. I ended up buying an American made custom sofa. I picked everything including the size, style of arms, style of pillows, and the fabric. When it was all said and done the sofa only cost $ 800 dollars (they had a sale), not bad! I really liked this place the only draw back is that they don’t really sell anything other than sofas and recliners and living room stuff. Great place for anyone who wants a sofa.

If you’re looking for a good variety of sofas, this is a great place to come check them out. It doesn’t look like much from the outside, but they have this place jam packed with a ton of different styles, from traditional to contemporary, with sectionals and a nice leather section as well.
They have custom orders as well as a pretty large clearance section (this location is the location of their clearance center, where they have some deeply discounted sofas.)
My only criticism is that it took a little bit for someone to notice we’d come in and come help us, but also being able to browse uninterrupted is nice.
