I’ve been a customer for 4 years and I would describe it somewhere between a rummage sale and a flea market. You walk in and there are rows of shelves and tables of technology and hardware. Given the difficult task of maintaining such a wide range of items he offers, it is decently organized and it is not difficult to find what you are looking for or even leave with several things you didn’t realize you needed! I have bought switches, KVMs, servers, video cards, etc for bargin prices. Once, I bought a video card and it was DOA. Scott replaced it with no questions asked. He is a stand up guy. He shoots straight but will go out of his way to help if you let him. For example, I have bought two rack mountable items from him and while he did not have the exact manufacture rails, both times he threw in generic rails for free. If you go, be prepared to spend some time, but it is worth it! It is a candy store for techies.

Scott’s biz is an in and out IT Government/Business Computer/Electronics Recycling Facility. Don’t go in expecting to get first class customer service or anything else as it’s not a mall or retail environment to give you that service, if your looking for that go to the mall instead. I found great buys here from taking the time and looking at what he has, yes the place is unorganized a little and Scott has a non bullshit demeanor which for the conservative or completely innocent nothing has happened to me in life individual it can seem that Scott comes off as completely rude. If your someone like me who has an open mind to giving people a chance and seeing what they offer, Scott can be a great resource if you give him a shot.

I have purchased from Scott’s Bargains several times over a 3 year period. There is a rotating inventory of computer systems at excellent prices, and they have been flexible and friendly when I was looking for specific configurations or odd items. A good place to go to get lab computers or components for older systems. It is also the only place I’ve ever seen a MAN Laser and a bookshelf for sale within 10 feet of one another. A fun shop for veteran computer techs, students, or small businesspeople alike.

I am SO happy I found Scott’s! When my projector died the day before an important business training, I was in search for a new projector and found Scott’s and I am so happy! I bought a brand new projector for $ 50! It is AWESOME and my techy hubby is stoked! The owner gets almost of all his items from the government or schools when they upgrade their electronics. He tests everything and everything that does not work properly, he takes apart for parts. My projector works wonderfully and is brand new! The last person who posted is just plain out wrong! The owner was incredibly kind, helpful and knowledgeable. The store reminds me of a treasure chest full of great finds. I will NEVER go any where else for electronics. GREATFIND! Well worth the travel(I came from Springfield).

I enjoy this store very much. I come here whenever I have extra money or need computer parts. Scott has a wide variety of computer hardware and other miscellaneous items that can be very useful. For example he has these NASA like monitor desk things similar to the ones they used for space missions back in the day. He has I have a purchased servers, rack cabinets Cisco routers and switches, monitors, keyboards, cables, books and switchboxes. Anything you could need for your computer you can find here. It’s like a junk yard and I only say that because the items are not organized in a way where a walk in customer would know. But, if he has it he knows exactly where it is and if he has it I can pretty much guarantee you will not find it anywhere cheaper.
