A great place to grab a variety of desserts! I live so far from all of the hype places, i.e. Snocream, Kung Fu Tea, Momofuku, etc. so this is perfect when I want something sweet but don’t want to make the long drive. Venue offers boba drinks, bingso, shaved ice, halo halo and so much more! I love that they’re constantly adding new additions to their menu. My weaknesses are definitely their halo halo and mango smoothie. I’ll slowly need to make my way through their entire menu but this place does not disappoint!

Update: Same rating, but definitely need to update on the fact that this location has improved tremendously with options. They seriously have everything. From halo halo to macarons to che to banh mi sandwiches and so on. A favorite spot of mines to stop by in the area for an Asian dessert fix since driving to Falls Church can be a hassle. Some of the items are better executed than others, so that’s why I can’t give it a 5 star rating. They give you so many options, but not all of them are done well. For example, I’m not a fan of their sno cream or banh mi. But the halo halo, coffee, and milk tea are all delicious.

Tried a lot of items here and have never been disappointed once! Love their bubble teas, icecreams, lychee drinks etc. One good thing is they don’t put excess sugar like your other main stream chains. Price is reasonable as well. They also offer 10% off to Unilocal customers. Great job! way to go!

This is one of the times I wish it was possible to give a place more than 5 stars. One of my favorite things about Vietnamese cuisines is the desserts. Those creamy pudding like desserts filled with tapioca balls, or gelatin, or coconut strips, etc. Whether the flavor is bean paste, lychee, coconut, green tea, all those flavorful Vietnamese drink/pudding hybrid desserts known as «Che» are my ultimate favorite. I have been telling all my friends for years that if there was just a place nearby the western side of Northern VA where i reside(Herndon, Sterling, Reston, South Riding, Chantilly, etc.) where I could get these desserts, I’d be a regular customer because Falls Church is just too far for me to go for simple treats. Tonight, I found out my dreams were true. Yes, tutti fruitti is a frozen yogurt chain. And yes, if you go to the Chantilly branch, you can get your froyo soft serve style from a machine on the wall and top it with all the regular froyo fixings. But that’s not why I will go here. This Vietnamese owned place has taken the American dream and turned it into a reality. Immigrants from another country purchasing a popular franchise and adding a bit of their ethnic touch to it. Many popular Vietnamese desserts are offered here, as are the famous Banh Mi sandwiches. There are also many Filipino desserts here that are both similar and different from Vietnamese desserts. And then there are favorites of everyone’s like macaron cookies. Needless to say, this place is the answer to my prayers. Get any of my favorite Vietrnamese desserts: Suong Sa Hot Luu, Che Ba Mau, etc. and get it in tapioca/pudding drink format, but then the great trailblazers here at TF will add your favorite ice cream on top. I’m not religious not Christian, but this is what I dream heaven must taste like.

Nostalgia — all in one froyo place. Do i come here for the froyo? No i don’t. I come here for the variety of filipino desserts! As mentioned below — this place has halo halo, maiz con yelo, filipino ice cream bars — EVEN taho. On top of that — there is a variety of Bahn Mi sandwiches and bubble tea flavors to try! Every time i’ve come here, i’ve gotten the taho. It’s so good! The service gets a bit slow most of the time, but to me, it’s definitely worth the wait! I can’t wait to come back and try other items on the menu. :)

When I hear«Tutti Frutti» I instantly think, «oh, froyo.» My first experience with any Tutti Frutti was a regular plain old froyo shop, so naturally, when someone brought up going to Tutti Frutti in Chantilly, I was a bit skeptical. I’m not all that into froyo. They told me that this wasn’t the average froyo spot. They were right. Aside from having all the essentials for a froyo shop(stack of cups, froyo machines, and toppings bar), this places also had a full-on menu of food and sweets from different Asian cultures, as well as gelato, espresso drinks and coffee, and macarons available. They also started selling snow(a mixture of shaved ice and ice cream?) and snow cones. I, for one, was impressed, because as I was told, this definitely wasn’t your average froyo spot. In terms of food, they sell banh mi and steamed bao! As for other sweets, they sell halo halo, mais con yelo, and taho(all Filipino desserts, so +3!) and bubble tea(hot, iced, or blended). They also sell tubs of Magnolia ice cream!!! Flavors consist of avocado, ube, buko, and langka. Reliving my childhood, indeed! They also sell Lee’s Coffee!!! That is something that really impressed me. Lee’s Coffee is Vietnamese iced coffee imported from California, and the only other place(that I know of) in Virginia that sells them is in Eden Center. Now I won’t have to drive out of my way for some Lee’s coffee! The display case also has cake slices for purchase. Tutti Frutti also has the option of making/buying gelato macarons. They put your choice of gelato in between two large macaron cookies. Haven’t seen many places in the area do that, yet. All in all, despite having all these extras that make this Tutti Frutti unique, they’re stuff isn’t all that good. The macarons and gelato macarons lack taste, the snow isn’t as good as SnoCream, and their bubble tea is just«alright.» Their halo halo, mais con yelo, and taho are pretty good, though, considering that you can’t get them in many places.

Tutti Frutti Chantilly: Your Asian Dessert Oasis, or Nobody Comes Here for the FroYo. $ 4-something halo halo, a cold shaved ice with sweet milk/cream and coconut and other goodies topped with your choice of Magnolia(read: Filipino-themed) ice cream(the default is ube/purple yam, but you can ask for langka/jackfruit!) $ 2-something taho, a warm caramel soft tofu dessert $ 5-something shaved ice(cream) with condensed milk on top and mochi and beans on the side …and then this wacky assortment of other desserts, i.e. Vietnamese take-aways, a huge variety of macarons, big macaron shells ready for macaron-gelato ice cream sandwiches, ice cream pops, chocolate-covered strawberries, REALLY tempting moist cakes(have never bought, though). It’s everything but an everlasting gobstopper. Also, the savories! Vietnamese bao(i.e. like banh mi, but placed into mini steamed white bread) and banh mi to rival anything you’ve seen at Eden Center. Actually, it’s kind of like a little Eden Center joint in Chantilly, given the wide varieties of bubble teas and random assortment of hot fried Vietnamese goods you can get if you get there early in the day. But now that I think of it, I’ve never seen a glazed duck banh mi at Eden Center(correct me if I’m wrong), and they have a glazed duck banh mi here. It’s the wackiest and most wonderful place of food I’ve been to in a long, long time. Don’t believe me? Believe it when I tell you I drove my friends from DC(and one friend that was visiting from Pittsburgh) to come to this little Tutti Frutti in Chantilly and they were ALL. ABOUT. IT.

Wish I lived closer to this place! Came a little after opening on a Wednesday. The parking lot — which is shared with a handful of other restaurants and a salon was PACKED at noon. But luckily this place wasn’t too busy. I came in just wanting some fro yo but they had many other options available; a huge variety of smoothies, an assortment of baked goods, gelato, many fro yo flavors and even sandwiches. About 5 other people were there and were all getting sandwiches. I got a couple sample cups from the very nice cashier and sampled many flavors. I fell in love with one that I believe was called Taro that I had never had before. They had lots of unique flavors. Their salted caramel was really good too. They also had many topping options. I bought 4 macaroons, I think they were $ 1.25 each. They were ok — but I don’t think I would buy them again. All together I think I spent $ 9 and change. Pretty fair price. The fro yo was very flavorful and the toppings all good. Usually my eyes are bigger than my stomach and I can’t usually finish all the fro yo I get for myself. While I thought I may have gotten too much I ate it all and actually found myself wishing I had gotten more. Very yummy. I wish I lived closer! I will certainly stop by again next time I am in the area.

THis is the only place currently in Northern VA that has shaved/snow ice. They also have lots of different flavors of bubble tea and specialty drinks. This place is NOT like the other Tutti Fruittis in the area.

This place has GREAT variety– they have everything from gelato, bubble tea, shaved sno, frozen yogurt, macarons, pastries, Filipino desserts(maiz con hielo, halo halo, etc.), Vietnamese subs, and so much more! However, because this place has so much variety, some things fall short of excellent. For example, the shaved sno is OK, it lacks in flavor and texture in my opinion as well as the bubble tea and other items such as their summer rolls and subs. The focus seems to more on variety as opposed to quality. None of their items are terrible, but just being decent isn’t necessarily the most ideal. They are the only spot in the area for such a multitude of desserts so they picked a great location to set up shop. I must say I love the fact that they offer LEE’s Vietnamese iced coffee– it’s creamy, delicious, and strong. That’s what keeps me coming back. Their frozen yogurt is pretty good as well, great flavor selections and creamy texture. A few minor adjustments could be made, but this place is still great in my book!

A different kind of Tutti Frutti, in that this one offers more than just the DIY froyo and toppings. This particular location offers a variety of drinks, including bubble tea, Lee’s iced coffee, halo halo, taho, snocream ice, and food. In general, Tutti Frutti stores offer froyo, including froyo made with soy milk for those that are lactose intolerant, with an array of toppings; a great option to get at any Tutti Frutti store. However, the snocream ice here comes in nice fluffy ribbons, is a lot of fun to eat, and is a great contender for your sweet tooth. Located by the Chantilly Costco, in the plaza by Potbelly and the Mongolian Grill.

This place is awesome. They have a huge assortment of treats including ice cream, macaroons, bubbly tea and jelly desserts. They also have a few savory options like buns etc… On my visit, I got a hot milk tea and sesame and Pistachio macaroons. Most places won’t do hot milk tea because it cooks the bubbles. They did which was awesome. The pistachio macaroon was OK and the sesame one was delicious!!! Service was quick and friendly. The staff was happy to answer any questions. I’ll be back.

Let’s just say that from my first visit 2 weeks ago, I’ve been there about 6 times. It’s ok to go 3 times a week right? It’s just soooooo good. The whole time I thought it was just another froyo place and I don’t like froyo that much so I never went in. But suddenly my friends started posting pictures from here and I’m like what bubble tea and banh mi near my house? I knew I had to go! This place definitely has more than just froyo. From Vietnamese sandwiches(Banh mi), bubble tea, to macaroons, flan and halo halo, there’s alot of delicious Asian desserts in here. My favorite is actually the Thai iced tea with boba, it’s not too sweet but just sweet enough and the bobas are always soft and chewy. Alot of other places that sell bubble tea have hard and icy boba but you won’t find that here. They also offer mango and passionfruit poppers or jelly for your smoothies. The lychee, mango and coconut bubble teas are also flavors I’ve tried and that are delicious. The Banh mis here are not my favorite, the pâté is my favorite part of a banh mi and they don’t give much here. I mean it’s barely there. I would probably wait to get my viet sandwiches somewhere else. But their steamed bao are my favorite with the BBQ pork. I haven’t tried the other meats yet but the BBQ pork is delicious and it comes with radish and cucumbers all in a soft bun. Prices for drinks is the same if you go to Eden Center, about $ 4. But everything here is affordable. Definitely should try this place if you have a sweet tooth and if you don’t want to travel to Falls Church for some good ol’ viet desserts!

You know how they say jack-of-all-trades, master of none? Tutti Fruitti Frozen Yogurt is definitely a jack-of-all-trades, though master of none isn’t accurate. At least not from what I’ve seen so far. In addition to fro-yo, this branch also offers Vietnamese, Chinese, Filipino, and, what I’m going to call, in-fashion desserts(the«It girls» of the dessert scene). I am a fan of this Tutti Fruitti’s shaved ice. Though everyone has been flocking to Snocream for shaved ice, I think that this hidden gem puts out shaved ice that is just as delicious and satisfying. No sexy packaging, but you get to choose a shaved ice flavor(taro, green tea, Thai tea, lychee, and more), two toppings(mochi, mango jelly, etc.), and up to four drizzles(assorted syrups and condensed milk). And the portions are quite generous compared to the other option. I also like their smoothies, which come in flavors like taro and avocado. Bubble teas can be served hot or cold. Warm bubble tea sounds good for wintry days… Other atypical offerings: milk tea(various choices) halo halo assorted Vietnamese sweet puddings or dessert soups, including sweet red bean soup(lots of coconutty flavors, yummm) Belgian waffles banh mi(!) The owner also makes macaron cookies, normal-size and bigger for macaron ice cream sandwiches. The macaron flavors change. I saw coffee and black sesame seed among others. You can choose any flavor you like and combine it with any gelato flavor available to make a hefty sweet sandwich. I have yet to try the macaron sandwiches, but they look pretty tasty. Probably not BakeShop quality, but they’ll do for someone too lazy to make the trip to Clarendon. Sure you can come here for fro-yo, but maybe consider the shaved ice or bubble tea or Vietnamese desserts for a change. For the friendly and fast service, tasty offerings, and reasonable prices for most items, Tutti Frutti at Chantilly Crossing gets five stars.

As the Unilocal description of a 2-star states«Meh. I’ve experienced better» can truly describe my visits here. I went here with some friends for the first time because we heard there were«shaved ice» so we gave it a try. We ordered the taro flavored shaved ice and the halo halo. Both were tasteless with random stuff in the halo halo! I am not new to these kind of desserts… Second visit, just hung out with some friends in that shopping center, some ate there but I ate at Chipotle instead… The ones who had the Banh Mi and bubble tea(their new additions since my first visit) said they were alright and overpriced. So… If I were to come here again, I’d stick with the Tutti Fruitti Froyo!

Four stars simply because they offer Halo Halo! I am so happy that they have this Filipino treat here and even more glad that this place is close to home. I’ve passed by Tutti Fruitty many times while on my way to Costco, Chipotle, or Potbelly. I never bothered going in because I wasn’t really in the mood for froyo at that time. After looking at some of the reviews on Unilocal and after reading that they offer more than just froyo, I was sold. In addition to frozen yogurt, they offer Halo Halo, Banh Mi, Shaved Ice, Lee’s Sandwich Coffee(yes!), Teas, Slushies, Smoothies, Steamed Bao, Taho, etc. These may not be of the best quality, but I’m incredibly grateful that this place exists here in our neck of the woods. The fact that I don’t have to drive all the way to Eden to get my bubble tea or banh mi fix during the week, makes me one happy camper.

This place may be called Tutti Frutti, but it’s more of a Asian sandwich/dessert shop. In fact, I haven’t even seen anyone get frozen yogurt here. Halo Halo — this is their most popular drink, which is a Filipino dessert that comes with jelly, lychee, some fruit, red beans, topped off with taro ice cream that melts with ice into a taro flavored drink. Maybe because it was my first time trying Halo Halo, but I thought it was kind of weird. But I’m sure people that like this kinda stuff will love it. Bahn Mi — Another reason why I’m so confused this place is called Tutti Frutti. It was not up to the DC Banh Mi Sandwich standard, but it satisfied my bahn mi craving and was actually pretty good for $ 3.50. Frozen Yogurt — Even their frozen yogurt is catered to the Asian taste. They have flavors like Taro and Milk Tea which I don’t often see at other locations. They were thick and yummy– and they had Nutella flavor! With stuff like Bahn Mi, Boba Tea, and other Viet/Filipino drinks, this place is a nice alternative for those that don’t want to venture out to Falls Church for Eden.

I really want to like this place. I really do. It’s probably why I’m giving it 2 stars instead of 1 star. With all the reviews that are positive, I’m really surprised that I did not enjoy the desserts I had. My wife and I specifically came here for a lunch date so that we can try the shaved ice and other desserts. Boy, we were disappointed. I ordered two items, and my wife ordered 1 item. I’ll only talk about what I ordered in detail but I’ll mention that the wife did not enjoy her dessert at all. She ordered #21 and thought it too icey and watery. I ordered a Taro shaved ice with red bean and mochi with condensed milk and passion fruit syrup. I was really excited because the pictures in the store and on Unilocal were beautiful. When it came out, I was a little bit disappointed visually. The shaved ice I have had in the past was usually in a tall pile of ribbon; this one was a flat layer, at least it had some ribbons. The red bean looked like it came straight out of a can instead of a sweet red bean sauce and tasted terrible. And there appeared to be barely any condensed milk or syrup on it. Well appearances can be deceiving, so I went ahead and tasted it. Well I was disappointed even further. It didn’t taste like taro! If anything, it tasted like strawberry. The texture was a bit icey but not too ice where it would not be creamy. I mentioned it to the store employee and told her that I didn’t think it was taro. She went into the back to check the package and confirmed that it was taro. I told her that I grew up eating taro, so I know exactly what it was supposed to taste like. I asked her to taste it and she confirmed that it was not taro. I asked them to make me another one, which they did. But instead of taro, I asked for green tea. This time the green tea tasted like green tea but a bit bland. However I could tell that they rushed this order. There were no ribbons of creamy goodness, but instead it was all ice crystals. The entire dish was icey, bland, and nasty. I could not finish it at all. I also ordered a thai milk tea with boba. I did not like this either. The milk tea was not sweet at all and it left a bitter aftertaste with a weird texture in my mouth. The boba is hard and not chewy. And there was way too much ice in my drink. Since I didn’t like anything I ordered, I want to say I will not ever eat here again. However with so many other good reviews, I hope that today was just a fluke and that it will be better if I came in the evening on a different day. I want to like it because our area needs more shaved ice stores and great boba places. So I will try again and will update my review accordingly. Just be warned that you may be incredibly disappointed like I was.

This place started as a froyo spot, but has branched into many other realms of FOODIEDESSERTHEAVEN. in(NOVA) not there on CALI/NYC level… yet!(this place has tons of potential!) Basically a mash-up of yogurtland, bambu, blockheads/snocreamery, tapioca express, etc. all in one place! AH-mazing selection of things: 1) MILKTEAFROYO, why is this a flavor… it’s so flippin’ spot on to what milk tea tastes like… 2) BOBAGALORE: a lot of mainstay flavors, so you don’t have to drive all the way to Bambu or wherever else for your boba! Ask them to adjust the sweetness to your liking! 3) HALOHALO 6) TAROFROYO 7) TAROSLUSHBOBA 8) GREENTEASNOWSHAVEDICE 9) BANHMI 10) SUMMERROLLS 11) Lee’s Coffee Must try all the things. and swing by Costco while you’re at it and Target, and Chipotle. Not to mention the family here is amazing, and an awesome couple that will chat with you and ask for any suggestions for tweaking their menu! Grab a stamp card as well! Because you know you’ll want too, also unlike Bambu they take credit cards, so you don’t have to stress about not having cash!
