i ordered a gluten free crêpe at the counter, paid for it, and was really looking forward to it. my friend got his regular crêpe almost immediately. about ten or fifteen minutes have passed and i’m wondering where my food is, so i ask one of the servers about it. she tells me that they’re actually out of the gluten free crêpe batter. she seemed very pissed off and reluctant to help. i wish that i had known they were out of it when i already ordered and paid for it… i asked for a refund and she offered to give me a free crêpe the next time i came in. so i left with an empty stomach and short $ 5. i would have given a better review if they seemed more wiling to help and had a better attitude. two stars because i went in today and got a bacon cheddar crêpe. it was pretty good. 2⁄5 would maybe recommend if you don’t mind a little attitude and poor customer service.

Crêpe traditions is your ususal over-priced crêpe place that hits the sweet spot when you’re not feeling the froyo and ice cream offered along Franklin St. Most orders are priced in the $ 8-$ 11 range, so their weekday lunch special would be a better deal than coming in for dinner or on the weekends. I have only had the sweet crepes, and I can say that the crepes are just okay and that the dishes can come out looking very different depending on who made it. You might get prettier looking crepes sometimes and other times crepes with very little ice cream given. It’s a cute spot for a weekday lunch or dessert date, and I suspect that the limited dessert choices along Franklin St. are what draw people back to Crêpe Traditions.

Funny how almost none of their crepes are«traditional» but if you haven’t been, you need to go experience the biscoff; as far as I’m concerned they can reduce their menu by half or pretty much just sell this one. The lemon is about the closest to traditional but I didn’t try it. I had the PBJ& C — they need to take the C out as it’s supposed to stand for chicken and there really isn’t any in the thing. I’ll say that it’s pretty inventive and something I would come up with, but to be quite honest, as good as it is, I’m over it in a couple bites as its really just a unique coleslaw overpacked into a crêpe. The staff was super nice and easy to talk to so they get an extra star for that, a cool bearded dude suggesting a few places in town and out of it as well, and a nice girl suggested a place as well. The crepes themselves are good but being from NY I sorta have a plethora of opportunity to try a wide range of foods and I’ve had better. Not to mention I’ve had it straight from the French but you can’t compare that. I think they need to change the dish my crêpe was in, maybe they were going for funky but it looked more like a bedpan– not appealing at all.

What a disappointment this place is. It’s called«Crêpe Traditions,» yet they have no traditional crêpes. The savory filling options are all like Southwestern, Hawaiian Chicken, or something along those lines. Both the fillings and the crêpes themselves are of very low quality. I ordered a Balsamic Beef crêpe, expecting some succulent braised beef. Instead, it was filled with sliced luncheon meat. I’m all for taking something traditional, and innovating it with new ideas and ingredients. Instead, this place takes a wonderful French comfort food, and trashes it with the worst America has to offer. I don’t usually write negative reviews, but this time it is well deserved. I hope they rethink their concept, and step up their game.

Not your average crêpe. Crêpe Traditions does crêpe’s right! Really great location, clean inside and a friendly staff. The food is fantastic, we ordered the Hawaiian, Cordon Bleu and the PBJ+C(weird combination on that one but so worth it). Not a single complaint and everyone loved their meal. Would highly recommend to anyone and would return again!

Came here a few times before I reviewed it to make sure this place is consistent, because the first crêpe I had here was perfection. I’m pleased to announce, it’s still perfection! The cordon blue crêpe is my favorite savory crêpe, drizzled with a light and delicious lemon aioli. The sweet crêpe with the fruit and Nutella is also great, although the pineapple in it doesn’t go well, so I now ask them to leave that off. If you sign up for their rewards program you can get freebies, which is always nice! The employees have always been very friendly and tell us welcome back when we come in. It’s a must try!

The food is very good. The service is counter order with table delivery. I had the ham, egg and bacon crêpe. Pleasantly surprised by the rich flavour and presentation. Electronic table order might be a nice addition. Recommend browsing the online menu before visiting.

One of the best crêpe places I have been to ! Writing this review as a foodie with a sweet tooth. The ambience is great service was quick and the staff were all smiles. They have both savory and desert crepes which are simply fantastic. I loved the food, Plus there’s wifi hotspot. Definitely recommend it.

Been to there Grand opening today and tried samples of southwestern, margarita and california club they were filled with flavors and really tasty. The menu looks so unique and different. Ordered savory crêpe hawaiian chicken(bbq flavor is good) and a sweet crêpe tarheels chocolate banana bread. Have to go back to try rest… ;)

Yum! The fiancé and I had the Nutella Fruit crêpe. It was DEFINITELY delish… but we wish that there was more Nutella in it. Portion was good. We have been waiting for a good crêpe place in this area, and finally got it! Also signed up for a membership for a free Coke. Hoping my information doesn’t get sold somewhere…

When I walked in for dinner, the store was very clean, and the staff was very friendly and personable. There weren’t very many options on the menu, maybe 7 savory crepes. So, naturally, as a vegetarian, there were even fewer options for me. I ordered the Balsamic Beef crêpe sans beef, which comes with mushrooms, spinach, tomatoes, mozzarella, blue cheese crumbles, and balsamic glaze. The cashier didn’t reduce the price for getting a beef crêpe without the beef, but he did offer to put extra mushrooms on to substitute. My veggie crêpe, plus a bag of chips came out to more than $ 10. Despite the store being pretty empty, and there being plenty of employees, the service was noticeably slow. It took me at least 10 minutes to get my crêpe with no one in line ahead of me. But you’ve got to cut them some slack since they just opened. What I won’t excuse was the crêpe, which I bit into after I had already left the store. The primary ingredient in the crêpe was crêpe. There was a little bit of spinach, a sparse amount of diced tomatoes, some cheese, and barely any mushrooms. Other than the other veggies, the quantity of «extra» mushrooms that were on my crêpe was far less than the normal quantity I would have hoped for if my crêpe was full of beef. It was really gross, actually. I ended up not eating it, and going somewhere else for dinner afterwards. Now I’m down $ 10 and left with a yucky taste in my mouth. Hopefully Crêpe Traditions will keep improving as they settle in.

Very good food! Had the Biscoff Cookie Crêpe which was great and the Latte was excellent as well. Great location and experience overall. Will be back for more!

Wonderful meal! Originally went in for breakfast, but missed it by 10 minutes(stops at 11AM). So, tried one from their ‘Savory’ menu. It was delicious! Topped it off with an item from ‘Sweet’ menu! Must try!!!

just tried this place for takeout dinner. savory hawaiian BBQ crêpe. i don’t usually eat savory crepes but i was intrigued. it was really very good. flavorful, a lot of variety in the ingredients, and really fresh tasting. definitely looking forward to trying the rest of the rather large menu. seems like something for everyone.

First off, I love that we have something new in town besides Med, Asian, Pizza and Burgers. Not to say there’s anything wrong with those. I love Crêpe Traditions! I work close by, and the service is fast and friendly. The savory AND sweet crepes are both to die for. It’s fun to watch them make them, but I love that they go the extra mile and deliver it right to you when it’s done. I asked about breakfast, and they are going to be adding it. Yahoo! I can’t wait! Pricing is competitive and the restaurant is bright and clean. I hope they do a bustling business because I want them to be there for a very long time! If you haven’t checked it out, it’s well worth it!(Secretly hoping they add a ham and mac n’ cheese crêpe for my daughter!)

I was so excited when Crêpe Traditions finally opened its doors. I am a huge crêpe fan and other than the Crêpe food truck in Chapel Hill I didn’t have a good place to get my crêpe fix. I had a bbq chicken crêpe that had pineapples, cheese, and a sprinkle of green onions to add the perfect taste. It was very delicious and a perfect mix of flavors. I loved that it was filling but did not leave me feeling heavy. I recommended it as a light lunch or dinner option. Now the real reason I love crepes is for the sweet versions. I had the smores crêpe with marshmallows, graham crackers, chocolate sauce, and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. It was perfect! I wish I didn’t have to share it with my hubby ;) LOL Overall I highly recommend crêpe traditions and will be back to savor more sweet desserts and check out their coffee drinks. The only thing I wish was that it was open on Sundays to come for brunch or a sweet afternoon treat. For more great reviews and event happenings in the area check out my blog @
