This is my go to spot when I come into town. I’ve been coming here for years and look forward to it every trip. The staff and owner are top notch, super friendly and go out of there way to make you feel welcomed. There prices are fantastic plus they have a daily special and the food is very good for a sports bar(I’m big fan of the Asian style wings they offer and there burgers are top notch) Needless to say I know where i’ll be heading the second I land into Chapel hill

I’m giving this a five star rating based on my experience with other sports bars on Franklin. It’s pretty rare that I find a sports bar I can deal with but this one is an exception. The food here is a bit more thoughtful and better executed than other places though make no mistake this is definitely bar food! I’ve liked everything I’ve tried here amazingly enough. My favorite being the number 23. The chicken is cooked perfectly. Its tender and moist which is hard to find in chicken breasts. They add cheese, roasted peppers, bacon and a delicious Rosemary mayo that really makes this item stand out for me. Other contenders are the turkey club and the avocado, bacon and pimiento cheese. A good vegetarian hack is to get it without bacon. So good. And the bread isn’t dry and stale like I’ve found elsewhere. It would be nice if they had a few vegetarian options other than pasta, apps and salads though. The place doesn’t look like much from the outside. That old sign isn’t doing them any favors either. I’ve gone by here and never stopped because you have no idea what to expect and it looks like a place that time forgot but once inside its a cool, comfortable place with different levels and seating. I wouldn’t pass this by again.

Four Corners is reasonably inoffensive. College town, college bar. I like wings. I like large vats of beer. They have those.

We were in Chapel Hill for a guys soccer club weekend. Six guys 17 and on way up. We had 5 meals in Chapel Hill, four were at Sports Bars. Four Corners, Carolina Brewery and The Ale House. Four Corners has the best reputation and a great atmosphere. Otherwise the place is last on the list. Terrible service and it wasn’t crowded. Food was acceptable but the other two were better. From the older guys side, it was definitely the nicest of the places, but that didn’t overcome the mediocre service and food. Hate to be there if it was crowded.

Good bar. Causal atmosphere. We always come here after an exam and wants to forget it has happened. Some great memories are made there! The food is okay, but the beer on draft can’t be beat.

Four corners has the best buffalo chicken in the Triangle Area. Even though I ordered the buffalo chicken salad, they made a mistake and brought me the sandwich. They did not charge me for the sandwich though. My mother had the cobb salad and loved it. We both drank water. It is a bar and you should not bring children in there. There was a woman who thought she could do such. People, including myself, stared at her.

The wings did not disappoint! 50 cent wing night so I was able to try out different flavors. All flavors were good! What is best with wings? Beer! «Big Ass Beer» night was awesome. $ 424oz draft beers were amazing to wash down the wings. Highly recommend this place. You’ll find me coming back in the near future!

Four Corners is a very fun bar to have a few drinks and watch your favorite sports team play. Atmosphere: They have multiple TVs and if it’s not a UNC basketball game day, it won’t be too crowded. My only complaint is this: even if there’s no one else at the bar, certain bartenders won’t turn the volume on the TV if you’re watching a match. I’ve been told that the manager doesn’t allow it, but I’ve been there at times while he was there(super awesome and nice guy) and I was watching the audible match while chatting with him, and certain other bartenders don’t mind turning the volume on at all. Food: They don’t have many vegetarian options(understandable for a sports bar) aside from an ok vegetarian burger and sides which are pretty good. Drinks: They serve ridiculously good Lemondrop shooters and they make a banging Carolina Crush(Orange Crush with a twist). They’re also one of few bars on Franklin that have corona on tap, which is nice when you’re watching matches on TV. Also, fairly good $ 1.50 margaritas on Tuesdays!

Cool place, lots of TVs, good shrimp and fish tacos on Tuesdays. But they did bring us an extra taco and insisted on throwing it out instead of letting us eat it.

Nice sports bar, plenty of tv’s. Great wings and beer selection but the fish and chips was a little weak, understandable for a bar.

At the time of my arrival at Four Corners(at the recommendation of my wife, growing up in the area and having spent a good portion of her college years on Franklin St.) I was welcomed by a cozy sports bar with TVs everywhere. I’m thinking«oh great! A great place to get a beer, some grub, and catch a game(it’s a Wednesday so guess it’s NIT tonight). The bartender, while not a bubbly greeting, walks over and gets me a beer(which BTW, as long as you don’t mind choosing from Fat Tire, Sweetwater 420 or Miller Lite, you’re good). They did have G’Knight which helped. From there it went downhill, fast. I placed my order(10 wings, at the recommendation of said bartender, and a side salad) at 6:10pm, at which time there were a total of 5 customers in the bar. 2 of those 5 had already eaten and had their checks, 2 others seemed to be more concerned about a liquid meal, and myself. The time food received: 6:43pm. 33 minutes for 10 wings and a side salad(during which the bartender didn’t seem to give a hoot that it was taking so long)? Wow. Those must be some really great wings! Nope. They were barely dry rubbed and baked, with no sauce whatsoever(keep in mind I ordered«hot»). A couple of the wings looked like they were from chickens whose mother smoked crack during her pregnancy, or perhaps was infected with radiation during the Chernobyl nuclear power disaster. The net/net, looks like a really great place to watch a game but if eating, stick with the nachos(can you really screw up nachos?).

Pretty quant restaurant/sports bar. The service isn’t always the best, but the food is pretty tasty(especially the french fries). It’s a good place to watch sports because of the amount of TV’s.

Food was average to good bar food. Philly cheese steak had way too much cold bread. Burgers are good. Super nice people working there. Lots of TV’s which is a plus for watching a game. The juke box is WAYTOOLOUD. Not sure why they have such a contraption in a sports bar type joint. Location on Franklin Street is a plus.

Thursday night, in town for college visit with my son. This was a great choice! Boneless wings were awesome, cold beer with great selection. Chicken Parm & Philly cheese steak hoagies were excellent. Friendly greeting when we walked in and Meghan did a great job taking care of us. TVs, great service, & great food. We will recommend!

This place can be quite hopping during Tar Heels games, even though you could stop into any other number of bars on Franklin that are just as good and less crowded. There is a split-level thing going on here. The bar is at one level, there is a sunken floor that makes you feel all claustrophobic, and an upper level that makes you feel like a god, all powerful, looking down on your basketball cheering minions. The people who work here are friendly and handle the crowds well, although they overestimate how much time there is for a wait(which is standard).

I always wanna eat at four corner during the game time but I always miss it. So I decide to go by myself today and enjoy this 6 buck cheap burger. Well, it’s kinda dry and less flavored I should say. But the salad is actually delicious. I guess next time, I will try their wings because those looks really nice!

I’ve been here a couple of times now, and my impression of the place is rather middling. The food is fine — tastes like standard sports bar fare. The service is a little iffy, but at least they’re friendly. If you need a place to grab lunch on Franklin street, you can do worse. It’s not bad for grabbing a beer in the evening, either. All in all, perfectly acceptable but not great.

Four Corners is a nice place to grab a quick meal, but it’s nothing special. The sandwiches are solid, but not something you should go out of your way to try. It’s a fun atmosphere if you’re looking for a sports bar and the prices are pretty fair. Full review:

It’s always great to be back on Franklin Street especially when it’s basketball season and Four Corners is a convenient spot to catch the game! Even though it looks small from the front, Four Corners goes back a long way and has dual-level seating on one side. So yeah, it holds a lot of Tarheels at once! Food is going to be fried and sauced, we tucked away some garlic fries and wings, tasty stuff. The Miller Light pitcher specials($ 7) are a deal and they also run a regular special on Absolut singles and doubles($ 5). We got a complimentary pitcher of Fat Tire 420 from the beer rep girl so life was good! The best thing about Four Corners is the service, the staff there is pleasant and make sure you’re taken care of. If you don’t come in here expecting much more than a good sports bar you’ll be plenty happy here. There’s a saying that you can never go back but if you do go back to Chapel Thrill, Four Corners is a great spot if you’re a dyed in the wool TAR! HEEL! (Uhm and just to show you I’m a real reviewer, State got spanked today at the Dean Dome… :-)
