This is a typical Hallmark Store, easy to find what you are looking for and well organized. However, it is so crowded with merchandise and people that it is easy to bump into others and shelves. The people that worked there were very nice and greeted us as we walked in and let us know of the specials that they were running. They carry cards, specialty gifts and other random trinkets(like snowmen that shout at you as you walk by — which scared me to death). Favorite thing that the store carries are their recordable books! They have so many to choose from right now for Christmas too!

I’ve always thought Hallmark was a bit sappy. Well, it iS! But I guess I can be a little bit too. I was curious to check out their selection of ornaments and thought maybe they would have some Harry Potter ones but I guess that was so last year but they did have some cute finds that were $ 9.95-$ 12.95 that have helped fill out the tree branches. They were also handing out coupons for certain amount off depending on how much you purchased so that was helpful in bringing the total down as well. Cutesy stuff here abounds and it was a fun way to start out the Christmas season by browsing ornaments and decorations and gift ideas. The best part about this store is just how lovely the staff are. They were all friendly but not in a fake way. It was a pleasure to shop there and it made the store feel like there was a bit of camaraderie between us. Don’t forget to check out Ten Thousand Villages in the same shopping center though for their gifts and ornaments. They are handmade and fair trade items that you can’t find anywhere else. But I’m pretty sure I will always find something at Hallmark too.

As you would expect(since this is a national chain), this Hallmark carries a huge selection of cards for every occasion. In addition, you can buy themed stationery or party supplies, including invitations, paper plates, napkins, gift wrap/bags, bows, thank you cards, etc. You can also purchase miscellaneous– if not somewhat generic– gifts for the young and old alike: photo albums, photo frames, stuffed animal toys, recordable story books, pewter or porcelain figurines, chocolates, and colourful wine glasses. The best thing about this shop is the older ladies that work here; they will always greet you with a smile and a chat. This store is also dog-friendly, too — feel free to bring your pooch in to receive lots of ear-scratches and yummy treats!
