Slow-cooked pork shoulder. Grilled beer-can chicken(and subsequent shredded chicken salad). Roasted tomatoes with fresh mozzarella and basil in a balsamic reduction. These are just a few of the incredible dishes that Jon prepared for us while on vacation in North Carolina. He did everything with a smile and made sure we had plenty of delicious seconds and next-day leftovers, perfect for sandwiches on the beach and late-night snacks. His attention to detail and flair for the perfect balance of flavors made for delectable meals that suited everyone’s tastes(and there were 25 of us, so there were a lot of tastes to be had!). Chef Jon transformed our vacation from an ordinary week at the beach to an unbelievably great culinary experience! We were Chef Jon’s second vacation party with his new business and we could not be happier. He recently left one of North Carolina’s most prestigious restaurants because he wanted a more personal connection with the people he was cooking for. And we were the lucky beneficiaries.
