I love coming here! Staff are so friendly they remember my order by heart now! The Pizza is so delicious, and my second favorite meal here is the chicken gyro platter a must try! Food is very flavorful and always done to perfection.

Worst service ever I was there today and on woman asked the question three times they ignored her completely so I asked for her and the guy said no no she’s first I said I know but she needs to know something he said she can ask herself and then they proceeded to ignore her then some other fool comes over and says don’t ever tell somebody how to do their work I said really as a customer number one I can tell you whatever I want that’s what business is all about this place will be closed within a year I guarantee that

I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place. Tastes very cheap, but I guess that makes sense, though I would have liked to have paid less for the food. Got the lasagna, wasn’t impressed. A chef came out when I asked a question about the food and directed answers to the cashier and not me, wasn’t very friendly. If you’re looking for yummy Italian and pizza that’s similar and not full service check out carrboro pizza oven in carrboro, located in car mill mall. Very authentic tasting home made Italian. I get that everyone is trying to make a buck, but you can at least make it worth the customers while

This place is hit or miss. The one guy knows what he is doing and makes a good slice. Today, the service was poor. Called in for pick-up and made it all the way home, then looked at my order and realized they’d forgotten some of my food. Guy at the counter didn’t seem apologetic and I had to prompt him to give me my food, even though I’d called and explained the situation before heading back there. Definitely better places in Chapel Hill.

Pops is a great quick alternative when a burger just won’t do. The pizza by the slice option is quick; they just heat up the slices you pick from the case. Most are tasty. The steak and cheese is also good. Greek Salad was delicious. Drinks not so good…

Pizza is lousy and dry, but only to be made worse by the management. Rudest people I have run into in the restaurant business in years. Similar experience as another poster, outright hostel.

Something has gone wrong the last 3 times I ate there. I am DONE. Today: was charged $ 15 for a plate of spaghetti during Lunch. LUNCH!!! While my beloved ate while I patiently waited for a half hour for my pizza. They never even made it. Last time: Just given a bowl of spaghetti, No bread… nothing… full price of course. Before that: Burned both my bread and pizza and SERVEDTHEMTOME!!! Full Price!!! When I worked in the area 8 years ago this used to be an affordable place to eat with quality service and reasonable prices. Sadly this is no longer true. I will not be back…

The food is already stale before its placed under the heat lamp for hours. The staff is very rude and unclean(the guy at the counter had horrible body odor and dirt caked under his nails). Save your cash. Pizza Hut is actually better than this dive.

The lasagna pizza is delicious. The philly cheese steak is great too. Plus the guys that run the place are super nice and always crack hilarious jokes.

Veggie pizza was soaking wet, price high, cook gave us attitude without provocation, interior sorely needed a dusting and remodel. Strange, lots of tables and cooking area but very slow. Feels like a grandmother or mother used to help run the place and now only run by guys. I’m a guy and things don’t have to be and are rarely perfect, but I’d wait for new owners to return.

We have ordered from Pops regularly for quite a while. Their pizza is good, not always consistent(sometimes lots of toppings, sometimes stingy toppings), but good. We always order our pizza without cheese. Recently the order was messed up and our pizza had cheese on it. We were already home when we notice the mistake, i was late, and we were starving, so we really didn’t want to wait for another pizza and drive back and forth again. We called them to let them know about the mistake and they took my husbands name and said next time we called they would ‘hook us up’. About 3 weeks later we called and mentioned this mistake and the promise to remedy it. My husband was told they would not honor this and he would have had to order another pizza the next day or in the same week at least. Who orders out for pizza two days in a row… even in the same week? We paid full price for a pizza that was a mistake and they refused to remedy this. My husband did not even ask for a free pizza or anything… had we even been offered a discount to make up for it, that would have been ok too. I hope it was worth losing a customer over, because we won’t order from them again. I do not recommend Pop’s they are obviously quite unprofessional.

Good food and very nice people! We’ve eaten at Pop’s enough times for the owners to recognize us and they always go out of their way to make us feel welcome. Prices are reasonable. It’s a good spot to feed a gang of kids, such as after a soccer game.

I have been going to this location for years and it used to be my favorite pizza place in town due to the variety of ‘by the slice’ options that were presented here. However, this all suddenly went south about a week ago when I was told that my little brother and his friend were ‘kicked out’…more specifically one of the managers told them to «Get The ‘F’ Out!»(with the whole F word being yelled). Background: My brother(who I was the guardian of) and his various groups(boy scouts, lacrosse team, baseball team, etc.) typically bring their entire team in to this location and drum up A LOT of repeat business for ‘Pop’s’, they have even been complimented(on multiple occasions) for being respectful and always cleaning up their plates. We decided to go back to Pop’s to find out exactly what the situation was, as I never want to be one to assume what a couple of 14 year olds are up to. Upon our arrival we tried to talk to the manager who directly kicked them out, but he was unwilling to talk with us… instead he sent another employee(co-owner, I believe) out to speak with us. It was at this time that the owner told us that the manager was«having a bad day and that everyone deals with that in a different way…» that the manager«didn’t like how my brother and his friend were smiling» and decided to erupt. I kid you not, the owner literally told us that the kids got cursed at because they were smiling at someone who was having a bad day… My recommendation, don’t bring kids here and don’t support this business yourselves for that matter. The staff has gotten increasingly unfriendly and the service is subpar from where it was years ago. I can’t imagine ever yelling an obscenity at children, especially long-time, good young customers who have brought endless amounts of business. Needless to say, we won’t be holding our functions here anymore…

Stopped by for a couple slices of pizza and a soda for lunch. I want to say it was less than $ 7. The pizza was really tasty– had tomato, spinach and feta. Very enjoyable– better than Sbarro or other pizza joints that bake pizza beforehand and reheat. I probably wouldn’t make a special trip for Pops, but it’s a great option if you’re in the area. For what it attempts to be, I have no complaints.

Great pizza and fun crew make this place a must. Don’t expect white glove service just good pizza at a fair price.

Here is where you go if you want some NY Style pizza. I always go to Pop’s or IP3 depending on which one I’m closest to. The pizza, calzones, pasta, and gyros are all amazing. I also like that they offer ice cream. Their service has always been great for me. The only bad experience I’ve had overall is with their calamari. It honestly wasn’t edible because of how chewy it was, but I was taking a chance with that one anyway. Keep up the great dishes and I will ALWAYS recommend Pops!

Their pretty standard, local-owned pizzeria fare is pretty good stuff, but for that, I prefer Randy’s. Normally, I’d give this place 3 stars, but the space inside and the additional, Mediterranean menu items push it up to four. The gyros and falafel are a good addition, and were deemed«pretty tasty» by those in our group who ordered them. Definitely worth a look if you want more than the basic pizzeria menu items.

When I walked in I was impressed with the variety of by-the-slice pizzas available for lunch… But maybe that was part of the problem. Rather than getting the basic pizza perfected, they offer a lot of options. I got a slice of cheese, and it was pretty forgettable, flaccid pizza… One of the worst I’d had in town. The crust was droopy and flavorless, the sauce seemed a bit too sweet, and the cheese had a mediocre taste to it. I actually didn’t finish my slice… And that’s pretty rare. Even bad pizza is usually good enough to finish, but this one just didn’t seem worth the calories. The soda from the machine was badly mixed and seemed too sweet; ditto for the sweetened ice tea. Overall, it just felt like this place needed more attention to the little details. On the positive note, the place felt warm and friendly. I just wish the pizza itself wasn’t so forgettable.

This pizza is great! They use very tasty sauce and best of all is the cheese, they use alots of cheese. I tried this supreme pizza with pepporoni, ausage, ham, and veggies and it was amazing, I had about 3 slices. If you’re the type of person that’s more into the pizza dough, then this wouldn’t be right for you. The crust is just ok and it can really handle all the toppings they pile on. But that’s fine with me, keep the toppings coming!
