I have been going to different Supercuts for at least the past 4 years. I’ve had really amazing haircuts and I’ve had haircuts that were normal haircuts, but I’ve always left content. I should also mention I’ve been getting the same layers and trims this entire time — no big changes. Well this location gave me the worse haircut I’ve had since a friend in high school cut my hair. Lori made a rude comment about another client getting his hair cut, cut off SIX inches when I had just gone in for a trim and touching up my layering, and did an extremely poor choppy job. And when I told her I didn’t want anymore cut off and it was too short already, she said«This is what you wanted. What did you think it was going to look like?» She insisted on cutting more layers to «fix» it, but who knows if it did more harm than good. She was incredibly stubborn and I should have spoken up but by the time I was able to see my hair it was too late to save the length. The reason why I didn’t see my hair when she was cutting off so much was because to LAYERMYHAIR she had me bend over, brush all my hair forward over my head, and trimmed it as it was upside down. I have never heard of this or had anyone do it and rightfully so — it turned out horribly choppy, way too short, and completely awful. I waited four days to write this review because I thought I might feel differently, but no. Thanks Lori for giving me a terrible haircut, and for the six months it is likely going to take to grow it out to something I can stand.

I have. been going to the Chapel Hill Supercuts for over 15 years. I was very sad to go a couple of weeks ago to see Greg and was told he didn’t work there anymore and Ladora was also gone. I ask where he went and they told me they didn’t know. Well… by chance I found him and the lovely Ladora at the new Supercuts in Renaissance Plaza. I was very happy to find them… they are the only two people I let cut my hair. I wanted to share this for all the people that are looking for them.

Friendly staff but my haircut was uneven even though I requested the barber to take care in making sure it was even. I will not return.

Have been going there off and on for years. Found the greatest stylist for me — Lisa Stone. She cuts my hair exactly the way I want it, gives a great shampoo, and is very pleasant to have a conversation with.

They cannot cut hair. Now, I need another haircut to fix what they did.

I’ve been going to SuperCuts ever since they opened in Rams Plaza, and I’ve almost always been well pleased by the results. Disclosure: I’m a VERY low-maintenance old fart. If you’re looking for someone with hip Euro glasses to cut each of your hairs individually with free-range, organic scissors while you sip a latte and listen to MGMT, this ain’t the place. But you knew that. Most recently, I wandered in on a Thursday at lunchtime, and nobody else was there – I walked in and got into a chair immediately. G105 was playing on the stereo, which is cool with me. Jennifer introduced herself, wanted to know my name so we could talk, and off we went. She asked good questions about what I wanted, gave me some tips on caring for my increasingly white hair, and gave me a great cut. 20 minutes and $ 13 later(plus a very nice tip), I was out of there and looking good again. Zip, zip, done!
