Village Pediatrics of Chapel Hill

We used Village Peds for the first year and a half of my daughter’s life, until we had to move. We loved our experience there with Dr. Fitz-​Simmons! She’s so sweet and always more than willing to answer any and all of the many questions first time moms have. Also, Cathy, who manages the insurance billing, was super helpful and patient in working with us when we switched insurance and were having some billing issues. I would definitely recommend Village Pediatrics if you’re looking for a small, caring practice in the Chapel Hill area!

Village Peds is the best pediatrics service I have ever found. Dr. Gush and her colleagues take the time to provide a standard of care that is virtually unheard of in our current healthcare system. They don’t pile patients one on top on another, and actually take the time to listen to (and address) your questions and concerns. They have Saturday and extended day hour to accomodate «real life» schedules. They have never not worked my child in, they purposefully keep the schedule light to allow for same day appointment and have walk-​in service in the a.m.
If you have a child with Autism or any other special needs, this is the ONLY place to go. The staff is well trained to work with our kiddos, are very patient, flexible and most importantly knowledgeable about developmental disabilities. Dr. Gush is especially well-​versed in Autism Spectrum Disorders and she and her staff will go the extra mile to make sure that our children are getting the highest standard of care be it medical, educational, etc.
They accept most every insurance including Medicaid and Tricare and Jon, the office manager, has a wealth of knowledge to share regarding referrals and insurance questions.
I only wish that I could find an adult doctor who is as thorough and professional as my son’s pediatrician.
