If I could give this man zero stars I would. I just called up to ask the charge to alter dress pants, he said if you go to a mechanic to get a car fixed he won’t give you an estimate he would need to see the car first. Then I asked if there’s an average charge. He said there’s no average an hung up on me. Such a rude man, I don’t know how he stays in business.

I’ve known Alex for decades and he’s the epitome of the old-world tailor. He’s definitely not the cheapest guy in town, but quality is top notch and he couldn’t be any more of a gentleman.

Alex is a master tailor and a gentleman. The comment that he was arrogant and rude is unfounded. I have know him and used his services for 15 years and he has always been a pleasure to deal with. No he is not cheap. Yes he is more expensive than the tailors at the dry cleaners in town. But the quality of his work is at a different level than the theirs. If you need skilled alterations for a fine garment, he is your call. Go to the dry cleaners to have jeans shortened.

I’ve known Alex for 24 years, since he worked at Family Britches. He has tailored my clothing, and my sons to perfection. He is professional, charming and a world class tailor. A dying breed.

Way overpriced and rude individual to boot. Arrogant man whose prices are way out of line with the norm. Don’t even think about having a hem done. The tailors in town are much nicer and much more reasonable. Stay far away from this guy!
