Wicomico Shores Golf Course

I’m basing this review on perhaps four rounds played here. It’s a public, government owned course that is not well maintained, not well monitored and is not a very good value. Played today, weekday rate of $ 44 with cart, and it really was not worth it. The course is uninteresting, the fairways are not good grass, the bunkers are full of dirt and rocks and the pace of play is glacial. There were no marshals to maintain pace of play. The entire day we were bombarded by loudspeaker announcements from the local raceway which is right next door. The grill is not awful but not great. Burgers are about $ 4. Greens were VERY slow and speed varied greatly from green to green. So, if I could play anywhere else, I would. It’s better than nothing, but not by much.
