Great shop! Patient, and extremely knowledgeable owner. Charlie went above and beyond in his customer service for my husband and I. Charlie treated us with respect & took his time to review options with me, a first time gun owner. And unlike other gun shops in the area he was extremely friendly to us and was helpful. Very fair prices. Great selection! Definitely check this one out!

What a great store! Our first time stopping in was today. Very impressed with the service and variety of fishing, ammo, guns, clothing and so much more!
Stop in an check out the rare gun in Charlie handgun case! Do ask about the history of it, as it is very interesting.
So nice to have this quality of a sporting goods store locally. We will be doing business again.

Great shop, I was pleased with the selection. The owner seems like a great guy and knows his guns. Tons of ammo. It’s a hike for me but, when I visit my family up in that part of state again, I’ll swing by and maybe walk out with another firearm or more ammo.

I am a frequent flyfisher on the Deerfield river and I am very happy to report that we finally have a local fly shop. The owner of this shop is a really affable guy with lots of knowledge to offer up for local hunting and fishing. I’m not a gun person, but they did have a nice selection of rifles and pistols, as well as ammo to go with. The best part of this shop for me was the fishing section: flyrods, reels, line, waders and all the accessories to go with. But! Best of all — they have a great selection of Orvis flies! I love fishing in the Charlemont area, but it’s always been tough not having a flyshop around when you loose that last fly that the fish are hitting, now I can run down to Overwatch and refresh my selection. They also just started offering rod/​reel rental.
I highly recommend you stop by this shop if you’re in the area, there’s some really good new restaurants/café’s near by too.
