Very happy with the service at Bars and Booths. I have been there twice before making the decision to purchase and they were extremely helpful on both occasions. I had the pleasure of speaking with the owner and his wife and learned a lot about their business. During both of my the staff took their time to explain all the choices and provided suggestions for my custom booth. The booth I ordered was even more custom as I altered the dimensions to fit my kitchen exactly. They also helped me order a specific Coke light as well as a small jukebox. I even night an old school pay phone to set the tone in my retro 1950’s kitchen with a red, black and white theme. Debbie was amazing with helping me to crest this order and I spoke with her several times the next week, when I contacted her to change the dimensions of the booth. She explained pros and cons of the size increase. Heidi was a pleasure to work with and she has already called to check in with me and let me know that my jukebox is in its way. This store is for a specific client but if you are that client and want custom made furniture this is the place to go.

5÷29÷12, I placed an order with Debbie for some chairs. I paid in full via credit card, including prepaying shipping fee. Debbie told me 4 weeks for delivery. July 23, 2012 I called to ask when my items would be arriving. Debbie at first didn’t seem to know what I was referring to. I gave her my invoice number and credit card statement and she then informed me that the order was never processed due to my not choosing colors. I assured her I had completed the order, as I was charged for everything, even the shipping fee. She then declared that she had attempted to call me about the order but that my «phone line must have been down«and that a sample of colors had been sent to me via USPS. Since I had never received either phone call or post from them, coupled with the fact that This staff person had already told me a few different stories, I decided not to go through with this non-existent order, and requested a full refund on my credit card. Debbie told me they would be sending me a cheque for my refund. This didn’t sit too well with me, as they are in WV and I am in Los Angeles, and I paid for this on my credit card. When I suggested that Bars & Booths simply refund my payment via the same way I paid it, on my credit card, this staff member became rude and defensive and told me bluntly«We’ll do it when we get around to it, you are not the only customer we have«…I found this rather bizarre coming from a staff member who had taken my full order and charged my credit card and assured me of a delivery in 4 weeks just a couple months before. It is now July 26, 2012, and they have not refunded me nor returned my phone calls or emails. their products and furniture look great on the web, but I never got the chance to see them in person as ordered. I lost confidence in the integrity and quality of the product due to the lack of such in the staff. NOTWORTHIT. Still waiting for BARS&BOOTHS to give me back my money. I guess they really need it. Times are tough…
