Handi-Stop

Got coffee from here this am and this is what happened…
As I was walking to the counter the coffee spilled through the lid and seeped through my sweatshirt. I immediately felt the burn but didn’t think much of it. About an hour later a full blown blister formed. I went in to let them know that their coffee was way too hot and they might want to have it checked. I was then informed that it isn’t their machine that another company comes in and checks the temperature. I said well it is still in your store so it is your machine. Then they said they would let the company know. No apology or anything so I said that it would have been at least nice to have them ask me if I was okay and to apologize. The owner proceeded to tell say to me «why…we didn’t spill the coffee on you.» Wow!!! I am beyond angry! I wasn’t expecting any compensation by my telling them just wanted to make then aware but some empathy would have been nice but to be flat out disrespected is disgusting. I will never give them business again.
