Charleston County does not lack in parks. We are overflowing in parks. We love nature. We love flowers. We love trees. We love fountains. We love playing around. We love parks. They one is no exception, but it’s a baby park. A small square park surrounded by residential homes with a few benches, a central water fountain and lots of flowers all around. Sometimes smaller is better. This is perfect for a long talk, a little short distance frisbee or catch, lunch outdoors or a nap. It will be buggy in the warmer months. Be warned. It is a cozy little escape right in the heart of a good residential community.

Wonderful spot tucked away in downtown Charleston. Close to Hampton Park, but much smaller Allan Park is a great place to slow down a minute… relax, have a picnic, read a book, catch up with a friend. It has a lovely fountain in the center surrounded by flower beds, and a nice lawn. You’ve been meaning to take some time for yourself, here’s the perfect spot to do it!
