David, you wrote me in November asking me to remove the posting and apologizing for your bad service I received that day citing «you were experiencing family issues». You acknowledged you were not professional and now after I don’t remove it you come back with stating I was rude and blaming the customer. Again, same behavior; new day. Lots of mattress stores out there and I wouldn’t recommend somewhere people could have a bad experience.

Upon the first few trips, doing research and visiting many other mattress venders, we settled on the iComfort at Americas Mattress, the Sam Rittenburg location. The initial purchase was a decent experience, although I wouldn’t call it great. We asked and clarified a particular exchange question multiple times.
We had an issue with the mattress and questioned about the exchange. What turned out to be a miscommunication was eventually resolved by the manager who personally called me to apologize for the confusion. The road there was a little rocky, however, I believe we have fixed the issue.

Do NOT purchase a mattress from this company. First, they do NOT post their return policy, and I have never seen this in any place of retail. I was unhappy with my purchase within the first two days of buying it and was given runaround by the manager, the salesperson, and I ultimately contacted Serta and wrote to the CEO. I received emails from the «owner» and they were in illegible English and he advised me to contact Serta directly. I only had his name and «hotmail» email account. When I asked him his title, so I could tell Serta who I was dealing with, communication with him stopped altogether. There are plenty of other mattress stores in the Charleston area to purchase from. My issue was ultimately resolved, but through Serta and the store was rude and the owner was especially argumentative.

After a visit to matress firm next to best buy, where I was accosted by a rude unhelpful salesman who was more interested in their text messages than my business, I drove across the street to Americas Mattress where the two salesman couldn’t have been more different. They knew the product, were attentive and I came home with a Serta I comfort which I love! They are also a locally owned company and I like to keep my dollars in the community.
I would recommend them to anyone!
