Asian Buffet

Shortly after moving to Cross Lanes, we stopped in to this establishment. The food was decent, and since we lived nearby we decided to stop in a second time. The food from an early lunch was still sitting out at 3:30; stale, and it tasted as though dishes typically using cream cheese had mayonnaise used instead. My boyfriend complained politely, to which the waitress said, «it buffet… Maybe come back on weekend and it better.» Service was poor and it was so hot in the restaurant I felt ill. Please don’t waste your time and money!

Food was horrid, at least some of it was actually spoiled! So sad becuase I use to come here all the time when it was a good establishment. The cream cheese in the crab rangoons and stuffed mushrooms was DEFINITELY bad, had gone way off! I spit mine out, my mom nearly threw up from the taste. After I bit into those I wondered what else I had already eaten that had gone off but just couldn’t taste it. Many of the dishes were bland and not the textures there were supposed to be.
I started getting an upset stomach after one plate and stopped eating. Started getting chest pain (often a sign of a lot of MSG in the food) and stomach cramps on the way home. Took activated charcoal and pray I don’t get food poisoning.
What’s worse, we told the waitress about the food that had gone bad, they didn’t even do anything! They didn’t take the rest of them off the buffet, didn’t do anything about our bill. I went up and told the guy working the register that I did NOT feel comfortable paying full price. I had seen this man talk to other customers, yet HE PRETENDED NOT TO SPEAK ANY ENGLISH. He would only settle for $ 5 off the bill (by writing $ 15 on the bill under the previous total) and when we asked to half it (take one meal off) he said no repeatedly and pointed at the $ 15. So we paid it and left. Will NEVER go back there again, that’s for sure!
AVOID this place! Avoid, avoid, avoid!

Would go hungry before I eat this slop again /​the seafood buffet is a joke! The place was a filthy dump with more flys than customers!

Worst Chinese /​Asian restaurant I have ever ate at. The carb lagoon where not prepped right. The wonton soup was gummy. Black mold in the restroom. We only saw our waitress once at the table.

Plenty of options, including fare for the non-​American food averse. Mongolian BBQ is only available at certain times but there’s plenty on the steam tables and salad bars anyway. On par with the area’s other Chinese buffets, or maybe a little bit better than some (and dirt cheap).

Food was gross! My son got mussels that were improperly prepared and overcooked, and the stuffed clams were really salty. A lot of the food looked and tasted like it had been sitting on the buffet all day. It was just gross. Not going back.

This was a pretty good China Buffet. Fairly typical for this type of thing,…a little better than most of the ones I’ve been to here in WV.
I was glad to see they had seaweed salad and some sushi (which was better than most of the other buffets I have been to around here). The desserts were not that great… but I really don’t care about that part anyway.
Atmosphere is fairly decent
Prices are good,
Service is good.
