The doctors of the Asthma and Allergy Center were my «family doctor» for the first 16 or so years of my life. I always felt very comfortable there and even enjoyed my visits. What kid enjoys doctor visits, right? A testament to the level of care they provide, in my opinion. And believe me, as an asthmatic child, I was there often. I had a slew of allergies growing up, and when I got sick, I got SICK. I’d be out of school for two weeks when other kids would miss maybe 3 days. If I caught a bug, it invariably developed into an infection. Asthma and Allergy was always on top of new treatments and medications. If it were hip to be on the most popular medicines before they went mainstream, I’d be the talk of the town. I was on Tavist D, Allegra, and all those medicines you see on commercials way before they were over the counter. I was either the Black Keys of medicine or America’s guinea pig, I’m not sure, lulz. Asthma and Allergy Center made my disease manageable, and I never felt like I was impaired by my asthma, in large part thanks to the proper care and prescriptions. I ran the mile in 4:50 during that presidential fitness BS, y’all. Second fastest time in the school. I was rebellious though; no team sports for me.
