The good: the food. The bad: the service. Seems like a bunch of teenage boys not paying attention to the customers and the food but to each other and their own convos. Sloppy preparation of the food too.

Pretty good. Closest thing to café rio out east. Definitely beats the heck out of chipotle, moes, qdoba, etc.

A friend told me that Barberito’s has the best guacamole in the world, so I had to check them out. The guacamole was on point, but the real star at Barberito’s is the steak. On my first trip, I got a few tacos to try out all the meats and now I will never get anything besides the steak here, and that’s not a knock on the chicken or other meats, which are also delicious. The steak is seasoned like my Mother-in-law’s steak(she’s Honduran and that’s a HUGE compliment), so before she lived in town, my wife and I would visit Barberito’s to be reminded of her delicious steak. The other ingredients are very fresh. The queso is pretty good and the chips are thin but they taste nice. Ordering is easy and you just move down the line and tell them what you want, just like at a Moe’s or Chipotle. Overall, Barberito’s is definitely worth visiting and make sure that you try the steak.

Food is INCREDIBLE always! Way better than Chipotle and Moes doesn’t even come close. Food is ALWAYS fresh and everyone is always friendly. Thank you!

If you are going to build your own burrito then do it here. Farm fresh describes the ingredients well, and made fresh daily is more than a store slogan. In these modern times of multiple choice burrito decisions, make the right choice and choose barberitos. Not to mention the background music is always on point. I personally love the spicy chicken but I have also heard that the tofu is pretty damn good.

Very delicious and very good prices, I really enjoyed the food. Equivalent to a Moe’s or Chipotle but I thought this was better than either of those chains.

Steak was tough and hard to chew. Overpriced compared to moes. Chips and salsa were bland and lacked flavor. Tasted watered down. Salad was basic, not as good as moes. Seats are uncomfortable. Rice was not cooked properly and was hard in some areas.43.00 for two adults and two kids under 6. Ridiculous.

Came home with the wrong burrito. Thanks barbs. Normally like the food but when you get the exact opposite burrito that you ordered its never gonna be good. Also were out of things

Barberitos is a fantastic restraunt. Only fresh ingredients served here by the friendliest locals. I really love the variety of choices and especially having the option of fresh mahi mahi on Friday’s as a special treat!

With all the similar burrito bars in the world, there’s subtle differences that separate one from the other. Barberitos excels in some areas and falls short in others, but overall I enjoyed the place and would definitely go back. Pros: –Freshness is a top priority and they don’t even own a freezer up in here. –The whole place is super clean and the staff is very welcoming and friendly. –Options for flavored wraps and unique proteins like ground turkey, three different types of lettuce(the spinach is underneath in the fridge… just ask), and toppings like fresh cucumber or avocado. –They have queso dip(some don’t… I’m looking at you Chipolte) and it comes in large quantities too. –Free chips. They’re almost too thin, but they’re free(quit charging for chips Q’doba!). –The good ice… you know what I mean Cons: –Although the staff is very customer service focused, they weren’t the fastest bunch. One picky customer ahead of you can really hold things up. –With up-charges for a bunch of little things like $.90 for sour cream, guac, or avacado, you can end up with a pricey burrito in no time. –As I mentioned, the chips are too thin for my liking. As you can see, the pros strongly outweigh the cons. It seemed to me the best way to distinguish between all these similar entities of fast-casual tex-mex dining.

Ordered a vegetarian burrito. Was supposed to come with avocado, but they were out. So, I asked for guacamole. They charged me .85 for it. If you want sour cream, that’s another .85. Vegetarian Burrito ended, with soda, costing $ 11. Won’t be back for that price

Horrible service and bland food. I wanted a reason to want to eat here vs. eating at Moe’s and unfortunately I will not eat Barberitos again. The employees were rude and inconsiderate. I do not know if this has to maybe do with them all being young, but that should not really serve as an excuse. We were there tonight, Friday at 8 pm and one employee was shaking the dirty floor mat out and sweeping right in front of us, while we were trying to enjoy our dinner. She continued to clean around customers moving tables, shaking out mats and sticking the dirty mats on empty booth seats. As more people started to come in she continued wiping down seats and tables with the same dirty rag and moving the tables sideways making it impossible for new customers to have anywhere to sit. One customer pulled a table back out so they could have a booth to sit out while the employee stood there and watched them to only turn around and roll her eyes. Cleanliness is great, however, closing down booths at 8 pm on a Friday when your restaurant is already full and new customers keep coming in leaving them perplexed on where they are going to sit, dodging dirt piles, is just bad service! The place just felt dirty and I could do without having a mat shook out right in front of the table I’m eating at.

If you are looking for a great Tex-Mex restaurant than Barberitos is it! Friendly staff and Fresh ingredients no matter what you pick off their huge menu makes all the difference. I had steak fajitas, huge portions for a meal had me taking home lunch for the next day. Perfect guacamole and chips as well. This has become my weekly dinner stop. And it’s so easy to buy gift cards to give to my employees as a bonus. They are always thrilled to get them. Shop Fresh, Shop Local and you get THEBEST Service always.

5 Stars for cleanliness, food quality, and atmosphere, but what really puts Barberitos over the top is their employees! Every time I have been in I have found nothing shy of genuine smiles, not only to the customers but to each other as well. And let’s be real, true glee towards a fellow employees is a rare commodity these days! The last couple of times I have gone in to eat, I have had the pleasure of being accompanied by two handsome young gentlemen, both under the ages of 4. The staff, both times on their own accord, was insistent on helping us to a table. The food is fresh and, as my dinner date puts it, «num nummy»! Kids eat free Tuesday night… get there early!

For this type of dinning, Barberitos beats all the competition. Things at other places are hit or miss but Barberitos is consistently great. Also some the best tofu in town.

An average Moe’s at best. Gringo’s offers more side for no extra price. The meat was bland. Not impressed. It’s all that James Island has, so I guess you should be happy for that.
