I really enjoy their pizza. I’m not an aficionado, but their thin crust is baked to perfection for me. Toppings are fresh and delicious and there’s a wide variety of choices. I’ve also had the meatball sub and it was very tasty. The meatballs are large, well-seasoned, covered in just the right amount of sauce. The only reason I don’t give them five stars is because their prices are a little on the high side.

This use to be a favorite pizza joint of mine. However, on my last visit there a female employee was kneading a ball of dough in her hands then she came out to answer the phone and placed an order in the computer all while still holding the dough. I was in awh! I spoke with the manager to share my concerns and he told me «she’s not the pizza maker, plus the hot oven will kill of any bacteria on the food» I believe anyone handling food should wear gloves. Needless to say I left and went to Dominos. I was very disappointed and will never go back. There food was good. Oh well!

Definitely a meh. I did go at the tail end of lunch time, so maybe that influenced my experience but as far as New York Pizza goes, this does not top my list in Charleston. After dealing with the awkward ordering process for a sit in, we got our food and mine didn’t look to great. And it tasted about as good as it looked. That being said, another customer’s pizza looked incredible, I guess it’s just the roll of the dice. Cheese/sauce/dough ratio was okay. The pizza itself was just okay too. Reheat quality was poor. Presentation was good though. Non-pizza options were there too. Finally, I will be going again to get a better idea of what they are about but my first experience didn’t tell me it would be the end of my quest for the best pizza in Charleston, SC.

This happens to be mine and my husbands favorite pizza in Charleston. Not greasy, fresh and just the right amount of ingredients. Nothing fancy. The interior is your typical pizza shop but the pizza is excellent.

Ordered delivery and was not disappointed. Brick oven pizza was a nice switch from the usual franchise pizza chains. Kids loved it.

Really good, ate in when needing dinner for the kids after shopping. The pizzas are New York style and huge slices. I like the kids could get 1 slice at a time and not have to get them their own pizza. Service was good too!

Baroni’s pizza is very good. It’s on par with La Pizzaria but half the price(WooHOO!). The crust is very good foldable NY style, the cheese is tasty and not excessive. The sauce is very fresh and not overly acidic. Best of all Baroni’s delivers. YeeAY!

Baroni’s is one of my favorite spots for pizza. I have moved to indiana, but every time I am there for a visit, it is one of my first stops. The pizza is amazing, but my favorite is the pepperoni roll, add sausage with no mush. The staff are friendly, and both locations are in good easy accesible area. See you all soon.

Was there once, ugh! Don’t even bother!!! I can’t add anymore to this review. This is not Italian food in any stretch of the imagination. Frank G

Average pizza. Definitely NOT authentic NY pizza, in my opinion, but I had to give it a try. VERY dry crust, bland sauce. Associates seemed Blah.

I tried Baroni’s for the first time tonight. I ordered the Penne Fredo which was listed as penne, Alfredo sauce, broccoli, tomatoes and smoked bacon. My boyfriend got the baked penne. We both got a side salad and garlic knots. We had it delivered, which was here in a timely fashion. My entrée was horrible. No sauce at all. No tomatoes. Just noodles and some broccoli stalks. It was so gross. My boyfriends was the same. No sauce. Just cheese and noodles. The salads and garlic knots were ok. That was the saving grace of the meal. $ 30 wasted. I won’t be eating here again.

Well, I have eaten at Baroni’s for many years and it has always been good until recently. The person cooking shook a customers hand and went back to making food with washing his hands. The customer service is terrible and I don’t think I will go back.

Love the small Greek salad for lunch. Delicious, affordable and just enough.

We had the baked spaghetti with meatballs and the pepperoni pizza roller. Our food was good, albeit a little artery clog inducing(hard to resist that type of food every now and then!). I will warn, though, do not pay with your credit/debit card. I have heard that other people have had an issue with being charged multiple times, and it unfortunately happened to us, as well. I placed the order online and paid online with my card. When my husband got to the restaurant to pick up the food, he was asked to pay. He explained that we had paid online, so the lady working said she would call her manager about it, and apparently the manager said the online payment didn’t go through(however, it showed up on bank account right away). The lady convinced my husband to pay again, and then was inquiring if we had placed an order to the Mt. P location, although she had our food and receipt ready… I understand these types of things happen. But after hearing that other people have had this issue, it makes me wary to order here again. We did call the restaurant to let them know that we had been charged twice, and they said they would remedy it(fingers crossed that it goes smoothly). The way this issue is handled will be the deciding factor on if I order here again.

Pizza was good, sausage or pepperoni was slightly spicier than I usually have but it was good. They could have added a little more cheese or I could have added extra cheese to my order. Staff seemed short handed as they had one waitress doing the orders and drinks. However she done a great job.

SERG!!! The lunch special not so special! Well the food was great. The problem was with the menu where it clearly states that the lunch special includes a fountain drink and a side. Serg was having none of this!!! He charged me and my buddy an additional $ 1.99 for fries. We even showed him where fries were listed under«sides». The new waitress, which had to be her first day wouldn’t «side» with us(pun intended) which was a big mistake since we provide her income via a tip. An expensive lesson indeed for all parties. Serg seemed to relish in the overcharge lol!!! Don’t cross Serg!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed Baroni’s. We love slices that we can put our own individual toppings on. The pizza was great and we enjoyed the garlic knots, very good! The even cut my daughter’s pizza up to make it easier for her to eat. The prices are great, we overfed a family of three for less than 30 dollars. You can’t beat that! We will be back!

Wife and I managed to get out twoards the end of restaurant week to give Baroni’s a try. Overall I think the food was good. I enjoyed the greek salad we had, and thought it was one of the better greek style salads we have had since moving to Charleston. The pizza had a great taste, im not a huge fan of their sauce as I prefer a zestier sauce, while theirs has a good basil flavor. The crust was thin and crispy and the toppings taste great. Also I wish the pizzia had a little more cheese on it. If you get a dessert, I hope you brought a friend because its a lot of food! Overall its hard to beat the price of their restaurant week offering with all the stuff we got. Everything was tasty and came out fast. I would love to go back for lunch and try a few other offerings.

My husband and I visited Baroni’s for Charleston Restaurant Week. Normally, people take advantage of that week to visit more upscale places, but Baroni’s had a «2 people eat for $ 20» deal, and it’s close to our home. We’ve wanted to try it for awhile, so we figured this was an excuse to give it a shot on the cheap. Reading some reviews here, I figured if it wasn’t good, at least we didn’t pay full price. Maybe Baroni’s saw the reviews and cleaned up their service and food, but we had a great time and really enjoyed our meal. Our service was great and portions were big, even with the Restaurant Week deal. The food is not that expensive, so we would come here without the sale. Our server was knowledgeable and checked on us several times. She brought us a to go cup and to go boxes when we needed them. First, my husband and I shared the large Greek salad. It was plenty of salad for both of us to share before a meal. If you just wanted a salad and no pizza, I’d say it’s a good sized salad for one. It comes with 2 pieces of zepp bread, lots of feta, and mixed greens and spinach. I like that they used spinach and not just iceberg lettuce like some places do in the salad. Next, our pizza came out. We got a 14 inch medium with 5 toppings– tomatoes, black olives, artichokes, banana peppers, and sausage on half of it. The pizza was delicious, tons of toppings on it. Thin crust and just right for us. We took about half of it home, it was so large. They were not stingy with the toppings at all, and it came quickly. We didn’t have any down time between the salad and the pizza. Finally, our restaurant week deal included dessert– which was cookies and cream zeppoles. The dessert was big enough for a family to share, so of course, the two of us had leftovers. All in all, we enjoyed our trip to Baroni’s. I think this restaurant might be a bit better for takeout than eating in, as the radio inside is a bit loud, the booths are not super comfortable, etc. But, it’s in a strip mall, so we weren’t exactly expecting a luxurious sit-down meal. The food is worth going back for and we will be back.

The food was okay. We found better salads and pizza elsewhere. Our table was very dirty and the staff was obnoxious. We sat close to the register and had to listen to their loud conversations the entire time. The place seemed disorganized and a mess. We will not be going back.
