BUYERBEWARE — Kris Barron(owner) — will leave you hanging! I drove from Kansas City to Charleston SC to view and purchase a 2003 Newmar Dutch Star advertised on . The coach looked decent for it’s age but I noticed the back driver’s side dually appeared low on air and mentioned it several times throughout the walk-through in the morning. After the 3rd request the handy-man brought out an air compressor and tried to air them up unsuccessfully. He suggested that I «stop at a highway exit and fill them myself». Once the paperwork was done I hit the road for the long journey home. I ended up stopping at 2 different exits/stations but was unable to get the tires to take air. Long story short — the inside dually blew off the whole inside of the tire which, in turn, blew out the suspension air bag. 6 hours and $ 1300 later I was able to resume my trip. The repair service that responded to my highway call said the reason the tires wouldn’t take air was because the stem in the valve was backed partially out allowing air out but not in. All calls, emails, and letters have been completely ignored by Mr. Barron. I have now hired a Charleston law firm to resolve the matter.
